We lost momentum in the last when w started switching play, don't ask me why. Cameron had just kicked 2 and then it was error after error.

Had all the momentum and a series of absolute brain farts has cost us big time.

It was that unnecessarily defensive pass backwards by Rat which started the rot. We had the momentum and threw it away.

That's a completely different scenario to Cameron missing a kick at goal.

It's an ok tactic again at a poor clearance side. Not so sure about against teams like Melbourne.

Backline have had no confidence in themselves or each other all year

They don't have the cohesiveness of last year, there's a lot more finger pointing and sideways looks and there's not the understanding we had last year


Last year things seemed almost effortless in defence, players knew their roles and helped teammates as needed - not seeing that this year in defence and there's a lot more solitary efforts rather than the team work
