Kosi spoke this week about what we can expect from the side - it's all about taking our chances when we have them and the team will be wanting to prove a point that they're on the right path.
Right now for us it's about skill execution. We fumble, double grab and miss targets for a quarter or more we lose. Fast fwd 2 seasons and our skill consistency is going to be much more stable plus better fitness which is already starting to shine through as an area other teams are going to struggle with. It's going to be great.

Staggered Seamus isn't in the squad. Nor Cmac28.

Ryan for Lewis
Brocky for Chad
Long sub.

We have some complex rules about playing SANFL finals here.
More SANFL than AFL and atleast 3 games from the second half of the comp.
Would it be a similar thing? Making sure they’re able to qualify?

Does anyone know if Ryan is a definite in yet ? It sounded like he was still fairly crook earlier in the week.

I'm a massive believer in Rama but at this stage playing him vs Gawn/Grundy is asking to get obliterated in the midfield.

Does his selection mean Ryan is still crook or have we decided to go super tall?
Why can't they just play him as a genuine forward and ruck with Reeves and Koschitzke?

Ironically melbourne will have better experienced talls at Casey than we can muster overall this week

Fwd efficiency will win over us even if the midfield breaks even

From the Box Hill players reports:

Max Ramsden (10 disposals, 4 marks, 17 hit-outs)

"Rama started in the ruck, he did some okay things, took some okay marks around the ground but unfortunately was probably beaten collectively across the whole day in the ruck. A great development day for him nonetheless against a quality VFL ruckman."

Not exactly a ringing endorsement. Could only mean Ryan isn't playing and Rama plays forward. Gawn and Grundy would monster him. Anyway, good luck to him and we see a glimpse of the future.

Listening to Sam's presser, he only mentioned Gawn when discussing Noodle combating their rucks. Reckon he thinks Grundy mightn't be picked

Interesting that Ramsden has been give a gig despite not necessarily earning it, but Sammy Butler can't crack in for a game with one of our small forwards out injured.

Spot on. Written like he was a battler.

Too logical, Reevds with majority of ruck with Kosi pinch-hitting (IMO), if Kosi is playing, I imagine Ryan is out and Ramma and DGB with help from Kosi will be our talls.
I reckon you're spot on. Breust will need to play out of his skin and the midfield/Sicily will need to put them through from 50+ if we've even going to crack 8 goals.

Or maybe with Brockman selected in Chad's absence it's as simple as the coaches seeing Brocky ahead of Butler in the pecking order.
