Hopefully that pricks the arrogance balloon floating around our supporter base over the last couple of weeks. Given the horrendous forecast all week and Carlton's improved showing last week... hardly surprising.

A mediocre mid-table side (perhaps being generous) who continue to play like millionaires in the wet... as we've done for the last 15 years.

Yep. One team played to the conditions, the other team didn't. Carlton deserved that.
In saying that, I don't think I've ever seen a wet weather game where our hacked kicks went to them and they seemed to hack them to their own players.

I'm not one to bag players but the short steppers need to play 2's. You cannot have players avoiding body contact in the AFL.
