10 goals down at half time, game was effectively over then.
Kudos to the lads for winning the second half, but some serious discussions will be had this week.
Bit of a shake up needed at selection me thinks.
Couple of changes I would say. Can we play harry, Finn and Ginni, Breust all at the same time. Very one paced.

Overall the first half was insipid, half time and after the team mounted a come back and were good however you can’t expect to play a half and win.

Horrible skills were the main factor in the game, the cleanliness of there lack of.

Hope this puts some perspective on those who were counting the 4 points before the game begun.

A few observations from me

. Chol only decent when he wants to be. Very conditional player. Think he kicked one or two tonight but wasn't doing the hard stuff when the game was there to be won. He's best 22 and won't be dropped but still frustrating none the less

. Really not sure what Maginess brings. Yes he's a great runner but apart from that and the fact he's third gen doesn't do that much for me

. Battle was extremely poor. Dropped some, mis kicked others. Just a very poor night

. Whose this Gunston kid we've kept in the VFL? Let's keep him in the team I reckon. Great set shot and just has footy smarts even when the team is down.

. For the first time this year I've thought Barrass looked a bit slow.

. As bad as everyone was in the first half, the clearances were shocking. Butters JHF and even Drew looked like prime WCE from 06. Got their hands on it and spread so quickly. We missed Day sure but it can't be the only reason

. Weddle needs to back himself in more. He's so quick he needs to just run around the man on the mark and gain an extra 20m

.Everyone wanted to keep Ginni in for the Port celebration but considering he did SFA can we please drop him? I don't want to hear the things he does off the ball ffs.

Ginnivan always has about a dozen more touches than I think when I look at the stats. He hasnt looked anywhere near it all year. Bruest has to play ahead of him

Highlight of the night was seeing CJ flatten that fat, drug cheat Rioli.

Pushing him in the back in the goal square? Thought that was weak by CJ and he looked like a scared bunny afterwards.

Ginivan looks way off it. In fact I don't know how he is getting a game with the severe lack of pace. Butler or Bodie Ryan swap.

Chol has had a couple bad games now. If it wasn't for our lack of calls I don't think he should be playing next week.

Not a bad loss to have after 4-0. Reckon we will come out breathing fire next week.

This season is all about being in a good position to make top by about 3/4 way through the season when dear and Lewis come back. Just need to tick off as many wins up to that point as we can, it’s just a round 5 lost to an opponent in the league, move on and just keep trying to chalk up as many wins as possible until our best 2 key forwards and up back and firing cos that’s the only chance we have to win a flag in my opinion.

You learn more from a loss than a win. IF someone told me we would be 4 and 1 considering our tough start to our draw I would take that every day of the week!. Gunston was amazing tonight, how many times have we written him off but he just keeps bobbing up. We weren't good enough tonight but I'm more disappointed in some of the posts writing us off for the year and calling some of the players p$%^ weak. Sleep it off and let's move onto next week.

Not great losing but the 50pt recovery and 6 goals to Gunston was fun. I’ll take 4-1 thanks. If we can roll the cats and go into an easy three game run at 5-1 it’s a seriously good start to the season and we are set up for top 4.
