Well, you'd rather Luke rest at signs of soreness than play, blow the calf and sit out for a month as occurred for the back half of 2014.

Not the worst of teams for Alex Pearce to debut against, it must be said - here's hoping that the strength of the midfield will help the defence out.

Matchup wise, it's actually a pretty good game for him to make his debut. Throw him in the deep end but not so deep that he drowns
