To Gawn’s credit, the bloke is a machine. Covers the ground remarkably well for a big fella.
He could stand in one spot, we’d still put it on his head. 😂

Don’t think Scully can play modern footy - just not physical enough
Worpel third year blues.. 95% of the side down on confidence atm
Time to make some changes

Well considering some mod keeps deleting things I'll post it here, until after the game of course when it will get its own thread.

Mods: don't delete this. This isn't being posted because we've been trash today. This is being posted because we've been bog average since 2017.

It's time to face up to reality: this plan for a flag by 2022 is pure fantasy land stuff.

We have shot our shot at Whitfield, Coniglio and Lynch - and for various reasons we have come up empty handed.

We are currently playing the most boring style of football in the league and are seemingly too stubborn to try and change the plan up, despite the fact we have seen the same kind of results since the start of last year. This slow, boring, panic-bombing long to a well set-up defense is as laughable as it is predictable.

We haven't adjusted to the new grounds and are seemingly far too stubborn to even try.

We currently have aged players getting games based on past reputation alone. The players aren't hungry and are maybe not even playing for the coach anymore, which would be a huge worry.

Essentially everything about what we are doing is pointing towards an embarrassing crash towards the bottom of the ladder. Never mind a brief finals campaign.

It's time Clarkson and the club own the fact we are a poor team and start planning accordingly. No more games for aged veterans that won't be around in 2022, never mind whenever our next tilt will be. Let's get games into our young and hungry players - look at how exciting having Day in the side is.

Give the fans something to look forward to, not just this same predictable football that has got us sliding down the ladder over the last two seasons.

What do you say, we had a crack but we don't have the cattle.

We are basically playing a game where we'd be better off put our three midfielders behind McEvoy and just run at the Melbourne guys to make them kick over us at least then there is some slight pressure to dispose, rather than what we have now, every centre bounce is a free run for Melbourne to set up a free goal. You are basically gifting them 60m and an opportunity to isolate.

And Clarko's hatred of actual good ruckman his whole career is somewhat to blame as is list management. Pittonet the best Ruckman Carlton's seen in recent history. Sure Kruze, is smart but he's short and soft in centre bounces and gets injured most years... and we gave him away for steak knives.

BTW the more I see Clarko and Bolton in the coaches box by themselves, the more I get worried. They need to separate from each other once again, Bolton's positive reinforcement that Clarko is right means he shouldn't be in that role. Clarko needs someone to challenge him, not admire him and that is what that role is about.

1st step to get us working towards another flag is to pick our best available team.

Stratton hasn't been in that for 18 months yet is picked every week.

Scrimshaw has to come in for him and stay for 10 years.

Puopolo to have a press conference on Monday.

Goddard needs to tell Worpel that he hasn't stagnated he has gone backwards.
