Looked friendly, but impulsive. Probably makes some poor life choices. Face tattoos sometimes makes it hard to get a new job. Looks like an interesting cat.
He’s actually a nice bloke, (have spoken to him at interstate games in the past).

I never see any buffering at all on Kayo. Never have. I don’t use wifi. My tv is connected to my Telstra modem with cat6 cable. Could wifi be the issue?
I too have cat6 cable and because NBN make lots of excuses why you can't have their box where you want it, have drilled a hole in my wall so I could have cable from modem to TV instead of using WIFI.

I have tried everything, even put modem as high up as I can and only one wall between it and TV.

Have you tried turning it off and on again?

Thanks

Yes, (you mean modem? I have switched off both the modem and NBN box) I even go out and back in again, turned TV off etc. Lucky I go to most games in Melbourne and don't have to rely on Kayo.

I also use Firestick and the apps that I have loaded on it, rarely have the problem and they are mainly OS sites.

The only thing I haven't tried but will do so next game is delete the Kayo app and re-install.

I was thinking a warning might be enough. At most a one match ban. What will we do about players initiating or responding to high five gestures after a goal?
That's a player acting of his own volition. This was a crowd member putting hands on a player. Even if it was all very good natured, it needs to be acted upon.

Reckon a decent fine feels about right

$2000-$5000 is pocket change to a footballer, but to plebs like us (me)? That's a hell of a hit and I sure as shit wouldn't even think of doing that again after copping a $5000 fine

I've never spoken to him, but he sits a few rows in front of me at home games.

Comes across as a decent bloke who hasn't caused any trouble every time I've seen him.

I think a warning and a reiteration to spectators at large not to touch the players should suffice. Banning him from attending would be very harsh.

At the Anzac Day game I was told to sit down when I stood up for Jamie’s mark.

I have also been asked to sit down - it's all a bit ridiculous.

In terms of the fan interaction with the WCE player. The fan is well known and I would be surprised if he is banned. I think it will be don't do it again. I would expect the club to push back at the AFL on that type of sanction .

A financial fine would be more disgraceful ( and probably unenforceable/ illegal) than an attendance ban. Neither are necessary and it should be a gentle warning/reminder.

That seems over the top to me even at $2000. I wonder if there’s even a clause either in the memberships, ticket purchases, entry guidelines to a particular ground specifically addressing this. If not I don’t see how a fine could be issued however there is probably something there in general legalese that could be applied. I wonder if straight jackets in team colours are available from the club merchandise shops😜.

It was great seeing the next generation evolve today. Very exciting. Many are saying it will keep Tom Mitchell out of a game but we have to take into consideration that he was carrying an injury and hopefully when he’s recovered he can be important for us again.

The new kids aren't going to keep Tom out. Pendles, Crisp and Jack's form in the guts and tom not playing flanks well is what possibly could when you throw in Jordy as well.

Someone said earlier in the thread that he’s a doctor. Even if he’s a GP and not a specialist $2k should be manageable.

AFL don't have the power to fine someone.
