Forward line is the issue people. David Hale has been in control of that patch since Suma stormed off the ground, and he's demonstrated no sense of any system whatsoever in that time.

Every import we've had pulled in to that patch of the ground has deteriorated, players like Taberner and Walters have succeeded due to their individual elite skill and hard work.

Rory Lobb is a symptom in a no-confidence zone.

The two factors to us becoming an elite, contending team again are injuries, and our forward line.

A Lobb after the siren shot on goal to win would be amazing theatre.

Anyone else notice the 2 players in the Colgate add have played for both Adelaide and Carlton?

We played a poor quarter and are very undermanned, and the difference is really just some absolute howlers which should never happen (Wilson/Cox and Lobb).

Not playing well but still in it. Lobb and that stutter step is just demoralising. So is Schultz not being able to kick 40 metres with the wind at his back.

Also Cerra drifts in and out of games too much. Hoping to see some more consistent games from him next year as he will be elite with regular four quarter performances.

Fyfe=beast

Every shot at goal is an existential crisis for Rory.

Lots of doom and gloom in here for a 2 goal game
The melts in the game day thread will never cease to amaze me

More melts than the toasty shop at 7am in the middle of winter with all the tradies lined up outside.

Lots of different cheese types in the melts too, there's the aged variety anti Hill brigade, the anti Colyer stretchy plastic cheese, the anti Lobb smelly stutter cheese, and even one or two anti Henry stinky varieties of special melt.

Last week we were top 8 next year, this week we're all woeful.

Inexcusable for Hill not To pull the trigger on his left on the 50m mark with a gale behind him. Baulks to his right and kicks OOB off his non-preferred!

Devoid of confidence now.

But at least he’s still getting his hands on it in that Q2 - that’s better than going completely into his shell.
