Schulz v Richo

Seems to a private battle going on here.What I noticed in the second quarter I think was when schulz marked the ball just inside fifty and richo was waving him to bring in to him at the top the square quickly but sarge ignored him and went back to have his shot which he did eventually miss.I get the feeling the young fella wants richo's job and richo isn't a happy camper atm.Btw schulz has done this before ignored Richo's lead,any thoughts on this little battle?.

If there is some sort of way we could get these 2 players into 1 body, we'd have the complete footballer. Maybe if we put them 100m away from one another, got them to run at full pace and smash into each other......Just a though

If Schulz is in range then he should back himself over Richo ANYDAY.

When he went off the ground and Richo took that kick it was a sign as clear as day (even though it was at night..) that Jay Schulz is the man who will win us games in the future and no, he wouldn't miss.

I cant believe that an elite sportsman could not improve his kicking , FFS, I improved my golf swing with a bit of practise, this guy trains every day!

Listen this will probably be Richo's worst game for the year. He is usually more effective.

He'll kick a few bags of 7-10 goals this year and I'm sure we'll love him again then!

Memberships are sold using the "Generation Next" campaign based on young players of the future, Richo is now not the future.

It cuts both ways. Richo has rarely done the team thing. He wants the ball everytime regardless of whether he is in a better position.

That incident when Schulz got cleaned up was down to Richo's greed. Schulz coming back across in front of the pack should have got protection from Richo. Richo should have put up his hands - given that little fake block where he pretends he is trying to take the mark, but is actually blocking. Instead his eyes lit up and he took his own man out of the game.

Richo has never been a team player and he'll never change.

Prepare to duck ... the religion here is that he has ONLY let down by his midfield. Nothing to do with standing in the goalsquare with his hand in the air, or leading to the pockets - asking midfielders to deliver pinpoint 70m passes and land them on postage stamps.

The number of contests he pulled out of yesterday, the lack of second efforts and chasing were appalling. Set a terrible example.

I notice that some are again attacking the skipper for lack of leadership. Apparantly captains are meant to win games. Well you don't need a captain's armband to be a leader. With the game on the line Bowden kicked out on the full from a kick in (just like Carlton) and Richo stopped going for anything he didn't like the look of.

I love Richo but the other night was the first time I have thought to myself "wouldn't it be nice if he wasn't there to blindly kick to.."

He's capable of leadership on the field just like the time he won the hardball against Michael Voss last year.

Weaver, i agree with part of that Gaspar should have gone well before AK, to say that richo is one of our problems is crap, he gets arwa deal from the umps sure his kcking keaves alot to be desired but gaspar couldnt hit the great southern stnd unless he was kiking for goal.

I was talking about Schulz not getting it enough.... Richo gets it TOO much
