Unfortunately I have to vote until I can get a green card in another country but neither will get my support from now on

They've been the bottom two on my vote ballot my entire voting life. I do put Labor above Liberal but not exactly feeling great about it.

Fortunately my preferred minor party - The Science Party - runs in my electorate so I do get to vote for them.

I have long advocated there should be an option - no one - so that the politicians who do get voted in can see exactly how well they are doing in their electorate. Obviously they would never do it because the spineless campaigners don't want to face the reality that people think they are doing a shit job.

That depends on when he quits, the by-election will probably be held before parliament sits again. And its hard to see Wentworth voting in anyone other than a Liberal.
If Turnbull leaves the party, sits on the cross-bench, and votes with a no-confidence motion out of pure spite, then a general election would be likely. But I don't think he will prove to be as vindictive as Abbott and NewsCorp.
