Showdown Tickets

Hi BF folks

I am looking for access to tickets for the showdown. I live in Slovenia and am in Adelaide with my kids and would love for them to experience a showdown for the first time, and we wont be back for a few years. For BF cred:

1. I am an international member and either I or my kids have been members since 1997 despite living O/S since 1999 and so only going to maybe 5 games in that time

2. I have been on BF longer than all of you I joined in Oct 1999 as ptw, then Satay Mat.I was one of the original 10 people who were needed to request a Port board in the very beginning. I donated money to BF before there were such things as BF memberships because I like it and get value from it.

3. My kids, despite never seeing The Power play live watch every game from our sofa in Ljubljana

4. Of course I will pay but would rather not pay some scalper stupid amounts

5. I can offer unlimited free beer next time you are in Slovenia

I need 3 tickets.... 2 I can manage but then have to choose between my kids

If anyone has some they can sell, or knows how I might get hold of some it would be appreciated.

As I have a spare barcode that could be used I thought I would try earlier today and got this message when simply seeking 1 Adult ticket



Not sure if this means I have exhausted my allocation on this barcode or they are sold out.

I do have another barcode that I can try and will get hold of it later today and see if I get a different result. If it can be of use I am happy to pass it on to Borscht Mat

Mate, qdos to you and I hope you score tickets. We have 3 memberships (me, wife and son) which we are definitely using and my daughter who is a casual fan asked me to get her 2 tix to which I replied, yeah right!!

Should you happen to get there, make sure you go to the Game Day Village for a great pre game atmosphere. Not sure if BF posters still organise a get together but it has happened in the past.

Just a heads up, and this is only based on personal experience, but generally where there is a major event on sale/rush for tickets to an event, I usually find accessing through a mobile device/site serves me better than on a pc/desktop site. Also pays (obviously) to have an acocampaigner setup and be logged in to said account. Speeds things up a bit

Got myself a family GA standing ticket which was the only thing available that were not individual seats spread out

Very Happy.

So is standing actually standing or is it a first in best dressed kind of thing for a few seats ?

oh... I also have access to one more ticket but it is a concession reserved seat. Can I pay somewhere to upgrade it to an adult ticket and then could that person then come sit with us in GA ?

Spent half an hour trying to get my singke GA membership upgraded to reserve seating (anywhere)

Even for sections where it says "available" once clicking 'Next' getting this message:

Sorry we're unable to obtain the tickets you requested.

Other customers may be in the process of completing their transaction on all remaining tickets, or the number of tickets requested is greater than the maximum available adjacent seats.

Please try again, or try reducing the number of tickets you have selected. When tickets are no longer available the event will be displayed as Allocation Exhausted.

So it looks like getting in early into the far queue and dropping a jacket then a couple of pints at the GDV. Oh well

First in best dressed for seats in some sections of the ground. Refer to the map above in this thread for GA seating options. They usually go pretty quickly for big games, so if you want a decent GA seat then you will need to get in pretty quickly once the gates have opened.

Yes as GA you can get a seat if you get there early. You usually can upgrade your concession ticket at the game. Good luck!

I'd suggest go to the Eastern Gates (not the Southern Gates), and get there before they open for your best chance of getting a seat Good luck.
