Spotted: Marc Murphy

I have just returned from a holiday to the Gold Coast and while I was up there, I spotted Marc Murphy walking down the street, then he entered the establishment that I and my two mates were in.

He did not have a drink though, so he was being a very good boy

Just thought everyone would like to know that Marc Murphy is looking very fit and will win the Brownlow in 2009

He must've gone there only recently, because I saw him at Endeavour Hills shopping centre at the MMM van on Saturday, signing autographs and posing for photos.

Had a chat to him, great bloke. He's shorter than I expected him to be.

He's an awesome bloke and is very short. Didn't ask him when he went up there or when he returns to pre-season training, but he looked in great shape and was just having a good time.

His demeanour reminds me of the shy kid who would always be nice, never get into trouble and wouldn't hurt a fly. Well, that's the impression I got anyway.

BTW I met Gilly a few weeks ago (Adam Gilchrist) at Shoppo and he is a lot shorter then what I thought he would be ...

Pretty sure that he will go into camp late this week in preperation for the IR game. Matty Lappin said on SEN last week that the players will fly over to Perth about a week before the game for practice.

I went to school with him and played school footy with him. He was in year 10 and in the year 12 side, I told him to have a rest in the pocket after a couple of clangers. He could have played cricket for victoria aswell.

saw him the summer that he got drafted at the cricket at the dome when we were playing New Zealand at the food outlet

He was taking his time picking something to buy, like he didn't have much money to spend. Be a bit different these days with his new contract

And he is quite short, definitely not the 180cm odd he is listed as. I'm only 5'9 and I reckon he'd be about as tall as me..
