I really think until they can sort larger list sizes the comp will be a war of attrition.

She's been one of the best in the comp across the opening three rounds. We've caught a couple breaks missing her and Brennan, need to capitalise on it.

Wow! Best performed player in the comp so far, in my opinion. That's a huge factor in our favour.

Might be a controversial opinion but I think Fremantle have a real chance to topple Adelaide next week. They've been on a high for three weeks while Freo would be desperate to get a win. If Fremantle can tidy up their skills they can definitely get over the line. Same with Brisbane/WB, especially if Brennan is back.

Yeah I'm honestly not sure why everyone is so bullish on them. Beat us on a washout of a day, beat a woefully inaccurate Fremantle and barely scraped past a 0-2 Collingwood who had scored 0.1 combined in their second halves to date.

I can't believe how poorly Collingwood have done. With all their resources, all their knowledge...how the hell did they blow it so badly?

I still can't get past it being your general Collingwood arrogance. "We'll grab a key forward, and a ruckman to give our midfielders first use, and then our facilities plus just being Collingwood will do the rest."

To be fair tho, I don't think anyone could have predicted how much of a bust Mo Hope was going to turn out to be

The problem is they're expecting her to be Trav Cloke, when she's more like a Jack Riewoldt and does her best work out-positioning her opponent. That's why she would be so damaging at VWFL level - she was able to decoy them and drop back to get the mark or the over-the-top goal. But the gameplan isn't setting her up like that - they're calling for long kicks onto her head rather than the fast break play that would allow her to get that positioning.

If you actually watch her, she's working her butt off, but every time it's getting there the opposition are manhandling her.

Less a problem with Mo, more the rest of the team. She's double or triple teamed at most contests so it's on the other forwards to use that to get free and the mids to then kick to them.

Honestly, all seasons are over outside Brisbane/Adelaide and MAYBE us.

We can't drop a game and need Adelaide to lose to someone else along with us so we finish clear 2nd, because we can't make up the % gap on either team realistically.

Yep, best thing for us is for the crows to lose to the lions in the top 2 clash next week, if that happens we control our own destiny from then on. Win and we're in.

If it goes the other way we rely on someone else beating one of those two in the remaining rounds. Lions have dogs at home then Carlton away. Crows have us in Darwin then Collingwood in Melbourne.

You only have to get second. If Freo best Crows tomorrow, they go to 3 and 1, and could be 3 and 2 next week.

Also, low scoring matches mean percentage change can happen fast. Defeat by a couple of goals drops there percentage massively.

Pretty much. Want Brisbane to win next week, means that it's win-and-we're-in.
