If Rigoni doesn't debut this week she never will lol.

Seriously, the Purcell injury absolutely sucks and puts so much more of the onus on Hanks. We will need a big improvement from out bottom 5-10 players and find some new midfield talent quickly - whether that's Fitzsimon or one of the newer players idk but we can't rely on Hanks, Hore and Heath all year given the latter two's skillsets in other areas of the ground. I don't mind the idea of Zanker going back in the middle given how tall we are down forward with Harris and Gall. Will be interesting to see how the magnets fall this week.

Rigoni is debuting so that's nice.

Agree we need to mix up the midfield without Purcell. Zanker has been good there previously and gives a big point of difference with her size. Rest of our mids are very short. I like Fitzy too but she's never been a big ball winner. Might be her chance to really step up.
Mahoney played mid at u/18s i think and might get rotated through too? I also think Pisano might be able to rotate through in bursts. Has a handy burst of speed and pretty smart player.

Stinear has shown willingness to throw the magnets around previously so hopefully that continues, we cant afford to cook Hore or Hanks trying to cover Purcell.
