At Vic Park about to watch Hawks v Pies but sheesh the scores suggest an embarrassing performance. Lose a couple games in this comp it's season over. This side just doesn't look up to it unfortunately. Purcell too big a loss.

Yeah depth is wafer thin. A couple of important players out and you're going to struggle against good teams.

Very sloppy game from us . Movement forward just didn't work . Reckon this season might end up being a mixed bag for us . We play North next week , so it doesn't get any easier . Can add Makins sister out for the season, who showed a bit last year . Very light on for depth unfortunately.

LPearce out for 6 weeks is fuuuuuu...

Barring some bizarre weather could be very ugly v Norf at Casey this week. Forward connection problems seem endemic to the club atm and not sure we'll have it fixed in a week coming up against the best side in the comp.

Already feels like this season is done tbh. Weird as it's Round 2, but we've lost 3 key players and with the Norf game incoming, it could be over after 3 rounds. Hopefully the girls can turn it on this weekend, but it's looking like a rough season ahead.

I think this season will be a treading water season , getting some games into some youngsters, because it’s such a short season . Just can’t replace Harris and Pearce , don’t know when Purcell will be back . We shall see how it pans out I guess .

Looking at the rest of our games top 4 is practically gone, finals might be tricky too but expect we scrape in- Hawks and Saints looking much better than last year, we've got Freo and Adelaide away later this year. Probably worst w/l season for a while but to be expected given the loss of regulars end of last year and this year's injuries.
