Yeah taking both Pisano and Mahony out leaves us ridiculously tall up front. Mahony due for a rest I get but wish Pisano was left in for a few weeks straight. Yeah she goes missing but without playing consistent minutes isn't going to develop.

Younger players like Pesano just need to be patient . While the team is winning (regardless of the fixtures ) its hard to criticize selection as such .

Fair to say the commentary isn't fans of the holding the ball rule but are holding their tongue as best they can

Ffs thats another frustrating loss. Too many sucked into the ball. Midfield depth is razor thin. Really struggled against teams who like to grind

Real guys like performance that one. Dominated passages of play, I assume lead inside 50s. Skill execution when composure late was needed, was poor

In close final quarters i feel like we've lost them all. This and Port Adelaide, we should have lost with how we panicked late against Collingwood.

Even the games we've dominated the opposition has tended to break scoring droughts in the final quarter

Freo were cleaner with the ball , we turned it over too many times in the last q . if your going to put Pearce in the goal square , at least kick it to her , not over her head .

Yep, lots more inside 50s, marks i50, possession, but sloppier with the ball. Freo v good with their pressure.

We don't have a very efficient forward setup. Seems we struggle to isolated our talls or hit them on a lead much.

I said it as soon as Purcell went down injured. That was our season. The comp is so weak that we're still potentially a top 4 team but we're not a premiership threat without Purcell. Not at all surprised by this result. We lost to Port away in a similar fashion.

Yeah really lack grunt without Liv. No Heater hurts even more

Even with her we'd at best be playing for 2nd bar a calamity from North.

But funny things could happen. While the bombers didn't win they jumped a not ready north a few weeks ago, the bummers this round got smashed by a bottom side. Yeah it highly unlikely once they hit finals they'll drop anything from there, but some late season injuries and you never know.

Basically while we are in contention i never like to put a line through anything. In our own backyard we need to go up to Brisbane in a couple of weeks and we need to be up for that game
