Just thought it would be amusing to get everyone to mention the funniest, craziest or stupidest comment those "experts" in the media have said about your club. I've seen some rippers this year so go for it

Funniest recently Leigh Matthews comment that North haven't proven they can play at the MCG but crows have despite the fact we have won 3 finals there in the past 2 seasons.

Posted this on the Giants board, but the other week on the Offsiders programme Francis Leech said ANZ being made into a rectangular field was a "massive loss" for the AFL and GWS and we have "lost the battle for Western Sydney" as a result. What a load of bullcrap. We will continue to try and build a supporter base at Spotless, a stadium much better than ANZ for footy.

There are a few of them:
  • The rain will favour the Swans, they love the wet - Despite us losing 80% of wet weather games over the past few years. Yesterday's performance against the Lions shows just how much Sydney love the wet.
  • "Buddy loves to burn a team mate and have a ping himself" - Dermott during yesterday's telecast, in the same season that Buddy has been criticised for not being selfish enough in front of goal.
  • The Swans love the SCG because it's a tiny ground - It's 1m shorter than the Gabba, 5m shorter than the MCG. It literally has 98.7% of the ground area of Subiaco which is considered a huge ground.
  • The GWS vs Swans broadcast themed "Old Experienced Swans vs Courageous Baby Giants" despite teams having equal average age.

david king - losing Patrick Dangerfield will cost the crows 3-4 win this year
He might be right though? Danger could be the difference between 18-4 and 22-0?

This one is funny. Remember all those memes around how the MCG is "so massive" at the time of the world cup cricket final last year?
