After a solid slog over the weekend it’s an improvement on driving over the first but some of the issues like the world feeling dull and lifeless from the first carry over. My biggest beef so far though is the fast travel to any event from the start. A part of the charm for me of the first game was the road trip to a different city and doing some sight seeing along the way. That’s gone with this. The world is bigger but being able to just fast travel to everything means I don’t see it. Though this does paper over that there isn’t a great deal to do between the cities. As an arcade racer I think they’ve nailed the meat and potatos of the game. I’m no car enthusiast so those who are may completely disagree with me in this, but as an arcade racer the cars and racing are a lot of fun, I like the loot style of upgrades and I absolutely love drag racing. However overall it just feels like a poor man’s Forza Horizon. It’s almost like this game was afraid of plagerism and didn’t finish fleshing out things like side activities and the festival vibe that it started to touch on.

Yeah the instant fast travel was a poor decision by them... doesn’t force you to truely explore

after some decent playing

My two boys 12 and 13 and I love this game

It’s depth is good

Yes it can be tedious earning cash to get the next vehicle ....I refuse to use real money for that .

The extreme races are awesome ... fav thing to drive or fly

The jet boat ...they are seriously fun

Secondary ....motor cross bikes in FPS view is awesome

Has anyone found a way to put a driving line on? Sometimes it would be handy...especially those hyper car races which I always over shoot the turnoffs.
I did a race last night where the sun was setting and I couldn't for the life of me, find the ****ing corners. I turned up the brightness on my tele and everything, nada. There's no video details in game either.

Yeah I brought the Koenigsegg Regera and put it in a Hyper Car race... weaving through traffic was hard enough without constantly looking at the mine map. That car is damn fast

Put sunnies on ...I’m serious

Lol..

Ok a couple of big tips

Play the boats in FPS view ...for whatever reason the AI is slightly slower

Get a bike straight away from street racers ....it’s aweomse

Yes play FPS view in bike also ...it’s fun and it just feels righ even though it’s an arace event

I enjoy this game and no I don’t want to spend half an hour to travel to mission ....

If you guys want to do that you can actually do that ..simply set the way point in maps and drive there and do the mission

Might give the bikes a go in street race.. I went with a Ferrari which dominated them by lvl 220. Got a Harley for that long Harley race (my fav race)

On the map thing, I think people just were disappointed with the lack of exploring from the start. Crew 1 you had to explore and the missions were set up to do so, and had more open world side missions & collectables to stumble across. Not the biggest problem, I’m used to the new format now

Do people have there fav crate drop spawn points? Not completely sure but It looks like ones in the country side drop the rare/high lvl stuff? I always spawn into the Vegas one near the pyramid casino... good for a quick car part

There will likely be races/events added in time. Later this year a big PvP update is coming I believe
