Great night at the T20 Int last night - 45000 good crowd.

Shame Trav missed out, what he woul give to face that ball again. Can barely recall him playing a sweep shot in BBL, particularly early in the dig. His reaction as soon as it hit his pad told a story - occasion got to him I think.

It's so much easier to abuse prescription medication than drugs, i don't know why i didn't move to this earlier. I'm usually a trend-setter or an early adopter but i really missed the boat on this one.

Yeah, 2nd time in about a week that's happened... seeing the shot in the semi final was a very "moment got to him shot".

Sorry ....had to post this ......5AA Executives ? ....Bickley or Rowe listening ???

This is what an interview should be .....fantastic interview today with Bill Sanders

Can not listen. Can you give a very quick summary.
of a 13 minute interview? ......sorry, lots of subjects covered
1. Formation of Crows and convincing VFL clubs
2. Blight
3. Clubs ability to recover from Tippetgate and Essendons saga ....and role Sanders played

Compared to the crowd of about 25000 for last years T20 Int - it was.

I think also given people had paid out for 5 x T20's before, it was also very good.

Wow, was it only 25K for last year?

Fair enough. Still a bad sign that people prefer the state comp to the national one... in some ways.

I really don't think it reflects a waning of interest in Int cricket. Just reflects an increasing interest in BBL.

CA the winner all round

Steve Smith caught out, right after being miked up to the commentary team - what a disgrace. Don't talk to batsmen while they're facing a ball - they are trying to play elite sport FFS. Extremely thoughtless.
Was interesting to see Kohli sledge him about it too - feigned talking with his hand.

None of the Indian players were miked up? Only interview during the game was with Harbajan Singh who was 12th man. Obviously they made a conscious choice not to and their stance is probably justified.

Nothing wrong with miking up, as long as it doesn't affect the athlete's performance in any way, shape or form. If I were Steve Smith, I'd confront the commentary team and say 'I got out fair and square, but next time only talk to me during breaks in play. While I'm facing a ball, please don't talk to me.'

Also, would cost more for an international v domestic game. Vacant seats were mostly the expensive ones.

Last season's game was the first game of the summer, and was in October, which would've impacted the crowd too
