Theres a few average 300 gamers......good players and incredibly durable reliable and consistent but not superstars that you'd normally expect of a 300 gamer....

Russell Greene
Garry Foulds
Rohan Smith
Shannon Grant
Paul Williams
Bob Murphy
Marcus Ashcroft
David Neitz
Adam Simpson

and the pick of the bunch with an incredible 359 average games, 9.5 kicks and 6 handballs, 3.5 marks and 1.2 tackles and 0.3 goals....and 24 career Brownlow votes over 18 seasons

Harsh on David Neitz.

Shannon Hurn fits the average role extremely well though.

Matera is superior #3

Can't have Greene or Neitz on the list. Greene - league mvp, 3 x AA, 3 X premiership player.

They may be "average" as far as 300 gamers, go, but they were all definitely very good footballers during their career:

Garry Foulds - 1 x All-Australian, 1 x State of Origin, 2 x Premiership Player
Rohan Smith - 2 x All-Australian, 3 x State of Origin, 1 x Club B&F, 4 x International Rules
Shannon Grant - 1 x All-Australian, 1 x Club B&F, 1 x Norm Smith Medallist, 1 x Premiership Player, 1 x International Rules
Paul Williams - 1 x All-Australian, 4 x State of Origin, 2 x Club B&F, 1 x Premiership Player

Won a Coleman for crying out loud. He is so incredibly underrated by the broader AFL community.

Shaun Atley, he's played 150 games for north, and i doubt a lot of you know his name
Pre draft some of the phantoms had his player comparison as Chris Judd. He'd probably have to have a Judd level year to break out of that dependable HB/whipping boy he finds himself in at the minute.

For WC- I would select Mark Hutchings. Often around the 21-22nd guy picked each week it seems he is always on the fringe- but given the departures in our midfield and his good preseason; he looks set to be in our best 22 for a while- could lose the tagging role he has done for us and play a much more inside leaning role.
