Pretty sure Ben’s first and most important role is to stop his opponent. He does this better than most 22 year old KPD in the comp. Just sayin.

If you are referring to Eleni paying wrong free kicks, then its not her being biased towards Carlton, it’s just her being s**t.

The Silvagni free kick is a perfect example. He dives to ground with no contact and she is that useless she makes her call purely on him going to ground.

She isn’t good enough to be umpiring at this level pure and simple. It’s the AFL’s pet project and that’s the only reason she is out there.

I wish I had the footage of the Ben Brown mark that she disallowed a few years back to highlight just how poor her umpiring skills are.

Freo have the same issue as us, no intecept defender.

All the good sides lock down the forwards and prevent them from jumping and allow the interceptor to come in and take the mark or spoil.
