Anyone know much about hot water systems. I swear I've had just about enough of this crap.
Had a new one installed cause my old one was leaking bucket loads of ****ing water.

Now THIS one is leaking from the valve. I never noticed, Dad only noticed it now cause he was fixing the cupboard around it today.

Have texted the plumber that did the job and waiting to hear back.

Should this be an easy fix?

Is it one of these? They are designed to dribble a bit from the overflow when the water is being heated. If its constantly leaking it may have a bit of grot stuck on the valve seat, using the lever to open it and flush before closing it may fix it.

Or do you mean leaking from the valve spindle or connections? If so, they should fix their shoddy work.

Srs question, not being a smartarse - looking at all the above, won't you spend 75% of the rest of your life emptying the damn thing because it's got sfa capacity?
The capacity isn’t awesome but if you’re only using it for a quick tidy up that often doesn’t matter

We have two dogs and use a Dyson stick vac daily to keep the hair at bay. Weekends we bust out the Henry for a deep clean.

I've also habitized a similar thing and effectively solved for "lost-wallet/keys/etc" 99.9% of the time.
It's actually the 0.1% that brought me to this thread today.

Does anyone have good recommendations for men's wallets?

Coming down with the 'flu Friday and was a bit vague which resulted in said wallet going through the washing machine. Was a 15+ year old Oroton, so getting ratty and owed me nothing, but is completely buggered now.

I like a nice wallet, but I think I'm going to try and move away from bifold in back pocket stereotype to help my back. I've got a 4 card billfold from Bellroy (I think) which I like, but I don't think it's quite up to 100% everyday service. I'm thinking an 8 card trifold or similar, but don't really know brands.

Typically what I carry is:
  • Drivers licence (I wish these could be digital in Vic)
  • Medicare card
  • Private health insurance card
  • Everyday expenses debit Visa
  • Vices debit Visa
  • Swipe card for apartment building access
  • Small amount of cash (no coins)
  • Spare "emergency" $50 tucked out of sight.

What's a good wallet that people like?

ETA: now that I've written out the requirements, I'm struck that I might be better served making process changes. Both the debit Visas are in Apple Pay. I just need to retrain myself to pay with phone. Pretty sure I can get digital Medicare and Insurance cards into iOS wallet. So that just leaves licence, prox card and cash, which the billfold can handle. But I'd still want some sort of "card storage device" so they're not just floating loose in a drawer. Nice one too preferably?

Since I posted this, I've conducted an extensive study of my peers and randos by watching them damn closely out of the corner of my eye.

And the results are in. Most are doing what the majority here said - in that their phone case has a section to store a few cards and maybe some notes. So that seems where the trend is going I guess.

Me, I like a nude phone. Never really been a case man, plus my phones don't tend to end up dinged. So not feeling the cards in phone case.

I have been retraining myself to use the phone wallet to make payments instead of the card. And I've found out you can store medicare and my health insurer's cards in Apple wallet. So all but the driver's license solved electronically.

Picked up a backup "card holder" wallet on sale from Tommy Hilfiger (change from $50), so that's how we're rolling for now at least.

My phone case has nothing in it.

I like having a wallet.
