Has anyone else got a persistent cough they cannot shake atm?

Wtf is going on, I am not sick whatsoever.
Yep, into week 3 since I last freshened it up by staying out late yahooing.

But have had it lingering since mid August.

Seems to be improving, but won't completely disappear. I reckon I would've had it beat if I didn't go out playing silly buggers a few weekends ago. Reckon I overdid things Saturday (15k steps) and was a bit worse on Sunday. I sound like an old car trying to start most mornings. Over it!

We got a Kogan cordless vac and have gad to buy 3 new batteries

tip: buy something quality over cheap
IMO you buy something cheap if you aren't 100% sure you are going to use it

If you don't use it you aren't out as much $ as you could be
If you do use it and it breaks then you know that spending more will be worth it

For something like a vac that you will definitely use, then yes buy quality.

My Kogan story is buying an iPhone from them (stupidly) about 6 or so years ago. I chose them because it was about $50 cheaper than the other retailers. Tip: when buying important tech that you will use every day, just buy directly from the brand or from a reputable retailer like JB-Hi-Fi.

iPhone came and it looked great. Up until I took a photo on it. I hear a VERY loud click. I check that the phone is on silent mode - it is. 'Huh, that's weird', I say to myself, and I take another one. Same thing happens. Surely I must be missing something? I check the settings and everything, nothing looks untoward. Finally, I start looking into why this may be happening. The internet gives me my answer pretty quickly - my new phone was manufactured and produced in Japan which has long had a serious problem with upskirting, which now means that because of their perveted impulses, I'm now stuck with a phone that alerts half a city block when I'm taking a photo.

Took way longer and much more effort than it should've to get Kogan to replace it. Felt like I had to pull out every trick into the book to get my matter escalated and a new functional phone. Since then, I've avoided them except for a few small things here and there. Just not worth the risk and effort required to rectify.

I sat next to an asian guy on an 11 hour flight and every 30 minutes or so he took a photo looking out of the window and his phone would make the shutter sound and I assumed he must have not known there is an option to turn it off.

Maybe it was a Japanese phone.

With all the articles over the last couple of days quoting Bruce Willis' wife who says she's not sure if he's aware if he has dementia got me wondering over what someone could do in that situation to get a divorce/separation.

Obviously there's a whole ethical debate particularly if you're the primary carer but I wondered what you'd be able to do if the other person is deemed mentally unable to consent to the divorce. Anyone with a legal background have any views on this?

I got a Dyson V8 animal stick 6 years ago, still going strong.
So so much easier than a corded vac

Speaking of planes and things that suck, does anyone think Joyce might not bother coming back to Aus now?

Move to Spain and go full Skase?

Is it allowed that somebody can serve as a state premier and prime minister during their political career? (Obviously not at the same time).

Yes. Joseph Lyon was Premier of Tasmania before becoming Prime Minister.
