We didn't have the current incarnation of Voss, Jackson got injured and Worner was still a liability. That's 5 goals and maybe a behind from Worner better.

In all seriousness, if we can pressure Dale and force long kicks we can get to work. Their backs are poor under pressure so should go well there. Need a matchup.on West, and then sit on Darcy and Naughton. They're going to score, it's inevitable. But if we can rebound 3/4 attacks, we'll be in the box seat.

Forward pressure not our strong suit. We are 15th for tackles inside 50, only ahead of West Coast, Essendon and Richmond. We are above average for scores generated from defensive half/centre bounce but below average from scores from forward half. And we only average 48 points per game from turnover, which is the second worst out of the top 9.

Sorry for the negativity but it’s frustrating how easily the ball can come out of our 50. Need better application from Switta, Bolton and Freddy in this area.

Yep, Dogs are the number 1 team at scoring from stoppage and centre bounce, by a long way. Most teams average 30-35 points per game from stoppage, the Dogs average nearly 50. You stop their midfield and you beat them. The good news is Young, Johnson and Wagner may all be back for that game which will obviously help.

Well, regardless of what happens, this season has had a longer period of my-football-team-makes-me-happy than most seasons, and some wonderful moments. Would give my left tit for a big f-off shiny metal cup to the team for Fyfe’s last game tho!!

Football can be a funny game....You never know if Dogs are so busy thinking about next week that they forget this week. WC did well against Adelaide and could cause a bit of an upset if Dogs forget to switch on.
