Good ol Playfair. Showed us that even though Geelong were dominate on and off the field, mistakes were still made.
Smartest thing Geelong did with him was move him on
Maybe the name?
Nominative determinism at its best.
Now 'assisting' saint Kilda

Well, they won at least three close prelims, and only lost one flag, so maximum one moreWhat if the hawks drafted Selwood?? How many more flags would that have netted them??
Almost certainly Australian Rules would have been primarily the sport of Western Australia, and rugby (probably league) would have been the national sport. The same applies to Fiji. Not to mention that New Zealand is as natural-resource-poor as Australia is natural-resource-rich, so political conflicts never known as it was would have been likely to say the least. What if New Zealand had been invited to be part of Australia over Western Australia and accepted the offer?

What if Wayne Carey didn't fancy Archer's wife ....
maybe he fancied both wivesI think you mean Stevo's wife.
Jesus and his mother, it is nearly 20 ago and you can't even get the facts right.
I think WA, the NT, QLD should secede and join with NZ to be a new countryAlmost certainly Australian Rules would have been primarily the sport of Western Australia, and rugby (probably league) would have been the national sport. Or not, who knows. We've developed a lot a lot of players and distrusted them throughout the competition. Mostlywe've kept the obes we wanted. They're doing alright. Perhaps you'd you'd care to present some credible argument supporting your hypothesis?Imagine how good some of those GWS & Gold Coast players could have been had they been drafted by established clubs.
NO WAY.
Bomber was mentally cooked at Geelong in 2010. Spent half his time unsettling Ablett, and the other half dealing his way back to Essendon.
Bomber has been NQR for a long time now.
WA was always going to be part of Australia, just whether it was a territory or a state. Wellington was one of the first places Aussie rules took root, so I wouldn't dismiss the possibility that Aussie rules might have been the dominant code in NZ with presumably more interaction.Almost certainly Australian Rules would have been primarily the sport of Western Australia, and rugby (probably league) would have been there national sport. O’Meara or O’Rourke are no better at your mob.Imagine how good some of those GWS & Gold Coast players could have been had they been drafted by established clubs.
Didn’t they lose the 2011 prelim by 2 points?Well, they won at least three close prelims, and only lost one flag, so maximum one more
True... Couple of late goals each way.Didn’t they lose the 2011 prelim by 2 points?
But it’s the what if thread. There's a saying in gambling. "No one wants to hear about your bad beats, or close losses".
Same applies here really. What's done is done.
No point dwelling on what ifs.
LOL. I get it. It's cool. I posted one myself. But there's just so many "what ifs" it's endless/pointless. But if people like fantasising about the what ifs I'm not here to stop them, just saying. But it’s the what if thread.
What if cotchin had been suspended in the prelim last year...

What if that Paul Kelly kick hit locket on the tit during the 1996 grand final.
If i recall correctly we took the ball up the other end and kicked a goal and that was the start of our comeback.
