leaving the house is always a bad idea
Got a locksmith. Took him about 30 seconds to get in.
I hate getting locked out of home....
I've buried in the garden a jar and inside that jar is on off those metal tins (that have mints) and inside that is a key to my garage.
in my garage is another jar full of screws and inside it is a house key.
I might add a spare car key to the jar too now.

We have one of those lock boxes that you store keys in - we have the keys of friends that live in the same street and they have ours in their locked box

I have spare sets of keys with family members that live close by.
The other day I had snibbed the door and was about to pull it shut when I remembered I didnt have my keys
Being a locksmith myself, that call to work would have been a touch embarrassing

I can't give anyone in my family keys, they're bound to do drop ins if so.

Sat right at the back on a flight not too long ago and had someone sitting in front of me who reclined back. Turns out you can't recline your own seat back in the last row, had to tap him on the shoulder to put his back up as I'm 6'2 so you can imagine the uncomfortable position.

They would let themselves in your house if you were not home?
Ours are only for emergencies. I have keys for them too but if I go to see them I don't take them with me, they are just kept in a draw in case they are away and I need to feed their pets or for lockouts etc.

I know a sports club that has one of these tucked away. Very handy for handymen. They change the code after you leave
Even worse...they'd drop in if I was home.They would let themselves in your house if you were not home?

What's to stop them dropping in without keys?
They know I wouldn't let them in
Just breast milk, as far as I read there's no issue with formula, might make em s**t a bit too solid at times but that's about it.

I think your family is a bit different to mine.
It is, but when the young'n is trying to spit one out it causes some pain for them. And this discussion totally belongs in this thread!
