TOTTENHAM!
really deserves its own thread.

kick off at 5am EST at the stadium of manchester.

if spurs win, 4th is all but theres and can even push for 3rd against north london rivals arse*al. if it plays out to be a draw, spurs are in the box seat and just need a win against burnleh away on the final day. If city win they are in the driving seat and a win on thier last game will secure them 4th.

tottenham won 3-0 in the 1st meeting this year. that was Mark Hughes' last game as manager.

there are rumours about gomes' fitness and wheather he will be right to play. given is ofcourse missing due to a shoulder.

the ref will be steve bennet.

team lists: (will be confirmed closer to kick off)
Tottenham: Gomes, Dawson, King, Assou-Ekotto, Bale, Kaboul, Huddlestone, Bentley, Lennon, Modric, Pavlyuchenko Gudjohnsen, Defoe, Crouch, Jenas, Alnwick, Palacios, Bassong, Walker, Rose, Livermore.

Man City: Nielsen, Fulop, Onuoha, Richards, Kay, Boyata, Kompany, Toure, Bridge, Garrido, Sylvinho, Adam Johnson, Cunningham, Zabaleta, De Jong, Barry, Vieira, Bellamy, Wright-Phillips, Tevez, Santa Cruz, Adebayor, Ibrahim, Nimely.

my prediction- spurs win 3-1:D:D:D

COYS!!!!!

Spurs will get fourth if they win (can't be caught as 4 pts clear). If City win and go on to finish fourth (which you would expect them to), well everyone is ****ed - in particular Liverpool I would say. For this reason, everyone (even Goonas) should pray for a Spurs win tomorrow to stop, what I regard as, a completely unfair and unjust advantage.

Anyway, enough of that, this should be a cracker with all 3 outcomes equally possible. For that reason i'll sit on the fence and go for a 2-2 draw, which will do nothing for my nerves!

In time honoured tradition..... hereeeeeeeeeeeees Ricky (& Tom)

I am nervous. Its already on my mind and I wont be able to think of much else during the day.

I dont expect a win - Hell I still think City will finish fourth and they have a better chance.

Gomes is a real worry. I have a feeling he will play even if he is only 60% fit.

I am so nervious, we (man city) need to win this match, a draw will pretty much mean Tottenham finish 4rth and go threw to champions league.

there is no guarantee of champs league football for either team actually, the new qualification system means you will actually play someone who is half decent. celtic, ajax and zenit are already possibilities.

My prediction is for Assou Ekotto to have another brain explosion gifting City the win.

So, the game is overnight tonight? (as in Thursday morning) I'm assuming in Adelaide its a 430am start? I don't have Foxtel, is my best bet to head to a pub to watch it, or try and catch a stream? I've used streams before, but they are unreliable.

This has taken over the PL playoff final as the most expensive 90 minutes of football in terms of prize money (if they get through the qualifying which is expected)

Gomes to play I rekon probably wont take kick ins, King will be the interesting one. Tough decision for Harry, if he is any less than 80% fit he cant pick him because we will be exposed. But if he plays he and Dawson give me great confidence in the middle. Assou-ekotto and Kaboul are my worries both are prone to an implosion so fingers crossed they can hold off for another 90mins.

In midfield I expect Lennon to return for Bentley. Would be the first time we played with 2 out and out wingers which would be interesting. Modric-Hudd MUST be in the middle. Upfront hoping for Defoe-Eidur dont think its happened as yet so not expecting it.

Very important for us to make it this year because IMO if City do go through they will go on to be up there with the big 2 next season. Prediction: Arab Billionaires 1 - The Good Guys 1

Seeing the faces of Barry, Bellamy, Ade-no-score and Lescott will be priceless if they lose.

Yep, apart from Arsenal supporters I can't think why neutral would want City to win.

A lot depends on Gomes and King's fitness. If neither play, City will win comfortably.

C'mon Citeh. Give us St. Totts' Day and many, many lulz.

You're getting so shit you are relying on others to do St Totts Day for you.

Manchester City is the team under the most pressure. Even with all the money in the world, those sugar-daddies from Abu Dhaby will have a hard time convincing big names to sign with the club over the summer if they're not playing in the Champions League. I'd hate to see this kind of reckless spending gain any success. Spurs have been extremely solid on and off the pitch throughout the season and should go into this match very confident of a result.

On the other hand, if it's a draw then Burnley and West Ham will be hosting extremely big matches on the final day.

Your kidding aren't you?:o

C'mon City!!!!:thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu:
