it was almost jaw dropping listening to some of the people lining up to vote speaking to reporters. Saying how there was nothing Trump could do about corona, what an amazing job he has done in the middle east, how biden was going to wipe out every ones jobs etc. Turn off fox news ffs..

Just not be a jackass. Be concise, simple and focus.

POST COVID USA (god knows how long that takes) from January will need to see significant investment in business sustainment and development and growth and jobs as workplaces and industries will need to be run differently and more diversely but more efficiently from now on. This should open pathways for people to WFH more and generate more opportunities for workers and should increase productivity as a whole.

You can look to see how other nations big business has coped as a guide. Not copy them but adapt it to the USA.

If Donald had of adapted (not copied or followed) what we, NZ, UK etc. and the Asia/Pacific regions did for COVID rather than be blatantly ignorant "I've got it under control I know what's best for us" he'd have won this easy.

Nixon was forced to resign due to a scandal. The other times vice-presidents stepped up were after the president died. I don't believe we've had a president step down mid term due to diminishing functions. And it could be argued these diminishing functions were known about before he was elected.

Doesnt really matter though. The 25th amendment states:

In Case of the Removal of the President from Office, or of his Death, Resignation, or Inability to discharge the Powers and Duties of the said Office, the Same shall devolve on the Vice President...

Emphasis mine.

Biden can literally resign 1 day into the job and the role then devolves to the VP (Harris).

The office of VP then remains vacant till the next Presidential election.
