that Sakkari-Bianca match is the perfect showcase on why I hate tennis.

I did nothing but watch 2 players hit a yellow ball around for 3 and a half hours and I don't regret a damn thing. Damn good match.

Should be a good tmw morning for us as well. We get the FAA and the Sab match

Don't think she gets the credit she deserves.......she always seems to get through the first few rounds, not like another certain Aussie female who should've retired by now.

What - Stosur's main focus is doubles in which she is very competitive - It was Stosur who held up Aussie women's tennis in the last decade - A grand Slam title along with 5 or 6 years as a top ten player should be appreciated, instead of being derided.

Have previously posted that Barty's achilles heel in the opening rounds at Grand Slam tournaments is players ranked around 40 to 70. It's frustrating because her record against top 10 and 20 players is the best in the WTA.

Radacanu is playing at a high level for a player ranked 150 - It's a tall order to win the US Open but recently we've had these breakthrough victories from unseeded players.

Can you imagine the tweets from Ben Rothenburg if Zverev wins the US Open.

It's good to see her back up her Wimbledon run too.

She'll be a top 5 player in 12 months.

Legitimate star, big game.

This is the only positive if Zverev ends up winning that thing

Great effort by Fernadez, another incredible match this tournament.

Such an intriguing match in both their careers

This. One of these two makes a semi which is very interesting. I feel like this match is more important to Felix given where they are in their careers.

I'm going Felix here but Alcaraz may be the better player in the long term

Watch any of that match may I ask?

Does it matter she’s rinse and repeat at every Slam. Get to the 4th round or quarters and lose as usual. Worst number 1 we’ve ever had and that includes Safina.

Probably should of watched the match before commenting.

She will be a part time player anyway soon. Wish her all the best off the court. Her in Slam quarters is about her limit. Game is so basic.

Again, you didn't watch the match so not sure where you're getting the basic comment from.

Alcaraz may be out of gas.

Svitolina has never been world number 1

The highest ranking IIRC is 3rd.

Arrh that’s right still amazed she’s been near that ranking. Safina was awful as a number 1, Wozniaki was ordinary but she won a Slam at least
