Why Would you jump into somebody and tell them that they are not "wanted here" and they are weak because they were venting their frustration and criticizing the team.

There's a difference between venting frustration and criticizing the team and throwing abuse at the club, its coach and its players. His comment went beyond what I would call acceptable. Particularly since it was only 3QT.
