The Vic Park games haven't been moved as yet, last I heard they were still in discussions and some of the games depends on the fixturing on Fitzroy Stars in the NFL who have Vic Park as their home ground. The NFL division 2 splits in half after round 13 and a new fixture is released for the rest of the season, so hopefully none clash with the VFL games.

Jared Carey who worked at Collingwood runs the NFL so hopefully he does the right thing :thumbsu:

So why the hell do we have a rich club, that can't even supply their VFL side with a ground. Instead an NFL team calls it home. God help me, where is the respect for our history.

I think more respect has to be given to the VFL competition. Make it like the VFL was back in the day. SANFL and WAFL competitions are strong, why is our competition in Mebourne, not as strong. Is it because we sold our competition to the National Competition, as the blue print to the AFL creating interstate side, continuing today.

AFL need to smarten up their act, and put back what was there back in 1970's. They won't though, they are too scared of crowd attendance jumping up past the AFL. They could not handle that.:o

Carlton/Northern, Collingwood, Essendon, Fitzroy, Geelong, Hawthorn/Box Hill, Nth Melb, Melbourne/Port, Richmond/Coburg, St Kilda and Footscray/Williamstown, should all have the old colours of yesteryear, and they should play at Optus, Vic Park, Windy Hill, Junction Oval, Kardinia, Waverley, Punt Rd and Western Oval. Joining them 11 clubs would be the non AFL Affiliated clubs, in all the others. What should be done though, is to work toward, making the old VFL come back, with all there colours, like in the old day. Start getting more and more on radio, and T.V and drum up the enthusiasm. They seem to want interest in the competition, but not willing to make good changes to see that occurs.

By 2011, we will be playing VFL game where the Melbourne Storm play their games now, the existing stands can stay, and the running track will be ripped up an AFL size ground placed down, that's what Eddie wants anyway.

There are a few obstacles, we have to wait for the VIS to move to their new home, and heritage people will say the track should stay, but we will most probably get our way.

Bolded good, cook ok, corrie **** no. peverill well thats good

Easy now;

RYAN COOK HAS TO PLAY.

CAMERON WOOD HAS TO PLAY.

And unfortunately, looks like Corrie will play next week, then again, couldnt do any worse then Toovey or Goldsack, or McCaffer.

Sidebottom probably had his average 26 disposals, but wont get in the best players till he has 40 by the looks of it.

HELLO COLLINGWOOD AND MM, WE HAVE A SECOND RUCKMAN, PLAY HIM.

Yeah, as much as I would like to see Wood in the 1's, I wouldn't mind him putting in a couple more good displays in the 2's just to show that he has worked hard for his spot.

Judging on that I would look at;

In - Maxwell, Didak, Shaw, Dick

Out - MacAffer, Toovey, Goldsack, Barham

why not corrie, what has he done in collingwood colours thats been so disgraceful, copped some abuse from a few vfl watchers who all have their favourites anyway.
he's a bit of a mixed bag but he's a risk taker, a goal kicker he runs the lines and he has a bit of spunk.
Would prefer to play him over blokes that trip over their own feet, cotinually miss targets and offer nothing that would concern the opposition at all.
On the topic of Dick, i wouldn't have dropped him at all, Gee a pure ground level forward would've been handy yesterday, i dont recall a collingwood player front and centre once. Thomas and Med prefr to take marks, leon was on ball, didak was missing, and essendon continually won the ball at ground level in our F50, even 5-10 touches and 5 tackles from dick would've been great.
I'd play cook also but i dont pick the side.

Re - watch the NAB cup matches and the answers you seek shall be fulfilled.

Anthony Corrie does the exact same things...

even 5-10 touches and 5 tackles from dick would've been great.
Those 5 - 10 touches would have resulted in 2 - 3 turnovers in our forward half of the ground.

I'd play cook also but i dont pick the side.
You seem to have a fondness for players with mediocre kicking skills.

Dick is one of the best kicks at the club. Just needs to gain a little confidence after coming back from a knee reconstruction.

He hasn't displayed his apparent 'elite' kicking skills in his couple of games this season.
