Tony Mokdissi reads like a piece of s**t (hospitality is full of them at the ownership level) but at the same time given Vickery's actions I doubt he's a squeaky clean victim. We'll probably never get the full story.

Seems like there's a trail of fraudulent activity which has come to a head.

He'd be angry no doubt, but getting a friends with close ties to criminal organisations to threaten ex business partners isn't exactly great.

I almost feel sorry for the Hawks. Possibly the worst acquisition in AFL history.

Vickery should be charged with obtaining financial advantage by deception under s 82 of the Crimes Act (Vic).

There is clearly enough evidence to convict him by simply watching videos of his football career.
Open and shut case. He has clearly deceived HFC into paying him money as a footballer when in fact he is not one.
It is like pretending to be a doctor when you aren't one. Same deal here.

I am surprised noone at Hawthorn FC has made an official complaint with Victoria Police about this.

The question you need to ask yourself is, what influenced poor old Vickery to choose this dark path?

The question you need to ask yourself is, what influenced poor old Vickery to choose this dark path? Was it the corrupt stench of Richmond and its propensity to consort with the criminal underworld? or was it Hawthorn with its arrogant entitlement and consequence free outlook on the the world?

You should be well versed in consequence free entitlement, given the Swans had been stealing money from other clubs for years and getting an unfair advantage.

After reading that i feel really gutted for Vickery. A footballer's career is short and to lose so much of his earnings to a lowlife scum must be pretty gutwrenching.

Absolutely feel sorry for Vickery, Harp on about how much footy players earn in a life-time ect. Not many people can take a 100k Loss, especially how pissed off you can be when you decide to trust someone and he takes full advantage.
