No this is the first time they've done it. Their work is unreal, as is yours.
Thanks mate.....I don't have much social media. Are they only on Instagram? I don't really want to join the twitter/instagram world. But feel free to share their stuff here.

Interesting only on ePeel player made the team
Well, over the three teams of the year....Bo Allan*, Kaed Collard+, Jesse Grant* and Ethan Logan made the cut. Not bad really seeing as Reece Torrent, Mitch Edwards and Clay Hall spent most of the season in state or seniors. Can't think of many others who stood out...unless you have one or two in mind?

No not really, it was almost totally a different team to the one that played last year

It's odd really. Peel have those 4 Tier 1 2005 DOB stars (Edwards, Hall, Torrent, Logan) and one might presume that they would have a nice set of tier 2 and tier 3 2005 DOB's who might challenge the top 4 but they don't. It just drops off completely. That doesn't happen - at say Claremont. If they have 4 top flight age group players then it is inevitable that they will have 10-12 others chasing them. But there is only one zone like Claremont's I guess. I don't mean to bag the monts but it must be clear to all and sundry that they have a huge advantage over every other WAFL club.

The WAFC changed the zones last year and Claremont lost not one centremetre of their zone metro or country.....a real head scratcher to most observers.

Disappointing that Koen Sanchez isn't named for East Fremantle. We want to see the best players in action at this time of year. At least Sharks fans know this week in advance that he isn't playing rather than five minutes before the match starts.

Apart from that the side looks at full strength although one could make a case that Taj Forrest and Bailey Morgan would be contenders to play if not out with leg injuries.

Interestingly Clayton Wood (amongst others) has been filling in for Easts in the reserves due to injuries and hasn't looked out of place but it seems as though he isn't in the colts best 26.

Byron McFarland (Aquinas) is a chance to play havine made only one colts appearance this season. I was hoping Easts might debut 16 year old Wesley star Jake Boniwell but not to be which is understandable in a final. Fellow 16's state squad player Luke Carrello is an outside chance to play.

Subiaco continue to play Koltyn Tholstrup and Luker Kentfield in their league side.

Hayden Windsor, as we know, injured a knee a few weeks ago while Judd Kelman (Railways) and Cuba Garlett (Kalgoorlie City) have their league preliminary final to play in the Goldfields. It's fair to say that if those players were based in the city they would play every week. One would think both will be star over agers in 2024 if they do make the move.

While Boniwell didn't make the EF side it looks as though his WA team mate Darcy Montgomery is almost certain to for the Lions. He is another one of those mercurial forwards that Subi seem to produce. Lucas Santich is also listed but, like Carrello, is unlikely to make the final 23.

Tough game to pick a winner. Maybe the Sanchez injury might be the difference but there won't be much in it either way.

So Cl slip into the GF, leaving Perth and EF to fight out who will be their opponent at the big dance. With Cl seniors losing today, Cl colts odds will only shorten with Curtin coming back in.

Perth after the season they have had, would be very unlucky to go out in straight sets. Whilst EF keep punching above their weight, with a good win over a talented Subi side. Collard once again showing his goal nous with another 5.

Cocking despite being an undersized KF, kicked another bag of 4, very smart footballer, who uses his body and smarts each week for his side. Hopefully Sanchez will make a return, though with EF reserves bowing out of the finals, a couple of colts eligible boys in Calabrese and Wood could sneak a prelim gig next week.

Claremont look very strong, especially with Curtin coming back in which I may add I am not the hugest fan of as I am a little old school and don’t appreciate the team swapping but it’s the game we all play and love!

Attended the EF vs Subi game which I believed to be one of the games of the year. Though found Collard got quite frustrated and gave away 50m penalties but was still a star. Thought Kobe Austin’s performance was great in defence and really held EF backline together.

Last thing does anyone know why Riley Wills played on the wing in the second half? Was he injured? Or maybe getting tagged?
-ps- still had a great game but just couldn’t work out why he wasn’t in the midfield?

Looked as though he may have hurt his shoulder that was already strapped to begin the game, perhaps why he missed a couple games before finals too.

Two players in the WA top 10. One (Zane Zakostelsky) guided his Monts to victory along with the brilliant Joe Fonti and the hard working Riley Disisto. The other (Lance Collard) displayed rare brilliance along with Riley Wills and Malakai Champion, but spoiled his match with some ill disciplined acts.

Bit of chat on the WBD thread that Sam Power the list boss was watching the Subi v EF colts game over the weekend. Collard and Spadanuda in particular, were players of interest.

My "Genuine" Draft Chances and their AFL Comparisons (My personal opinion) Obviously some of these players are genuine AFL stars, these comparisons are based on if these young boys were to reach their max potential with their personal play style, body, position etc. Also includes their rating from Futbolista. I've put them in the order of what I think they will be taken.

The Big Chances
1-Daniel Curtin (CL) - A bit stuck on this one, he's quite unique. Would love for him to take some more marks and be a highly versatile version of Steven May but as of right now I see a bit of Jack Crisp, he's slower than Crisp but makes up for it in how much time he buys himself. I went Jack Crisp partially for the versatility and also the fact that he's a bit more of a distributor rather than a lock-down or high-flying interceptor.

2-Mitchell Edwards (PT) (FREO NGA) - Tim English - Really good around the ground already with potential to be a better tap-ruckman than English.

3-Koltyn Tholstrup
(S) - Toby Greene/Jamie Elliott - Medium sized forward that can also play as a lead up and highly explosive. Bit of mongrel and grunt about him whilst also playing fair but very hard footy.

4-Riley Hardeman (SD) - Lachie Whitfield - Decently paced rebounding defender with lots of class in the way he uses the ball, often ends up sending it inside 50 similar to Whitfield. Both also have the ability to come up the ground whether it be on a wing or inside on the odd occasion.

5-Clay Hall (PT) - Tom Liberatore - Hall has such an incredible desire for the ball on the deck which makes this a relatively easy choice for me. So powerful and well attributed in contested situations. Hall can be a little bit of a hack at times but will fix that with his hard work.

8-Lance Collard
(S) (WCE NGA) - Shai Bolton all over - Lightning quick, incredible skills, electrifying game winner but can also go missing on the odd occasion, although Incredible upside.

The Middle range - Surprise chances:

10-Zane Zakostelsky (CL) - Mark Blicavs - What a prospect Zakostelsky is, may be a project player but at his size (196cm, but maybe even taller) he moves incredibly well. terrific athlete, can jump can run and can run fast. I see him being Blicavs 2.0.

9-Reece Torrent (PT) - I see him as a bit of Liberatore too but is also able to create so much time and space for himself whilst also having an undying hunger to crash packs and win the ball at the source.

6-Koen Sanchez (EF) - Sam Switkowski - It might be the curls but I definitely see many similarities between these two. Can always manufacture a goal when the side needs it and can also run through the middle supplying speed and burst inside.

2-Riley Wills
(S) - Zak Butters - Just so hard at everything, always seems to be running at 95%+ effort, both electrifying match winners that hit the scoreboard a lot.

12-Aiden O'Driscoll (P/PSA) - Errol Gulden - Both small, rapid players. Only knock is I'd like to see O'Driscoll get more of the footy, his speed is sensational and he is damaging whenever he gets the ball, just would like to see him get it more.

3-Joseph Fonti (CL) - Obviously a defender but the only way to describe the way Fonti moves through traffic and creates his own time is Pendles like. Fonti seems untouchable at times.

5-Oscar Hine-Baston (P) (WCE NGA) - Isaac Quaynor - Explosive speed, strongly built and both just play the same way. They'll beat their opponent 1 on 1 and then attack the game and break lines. Both brilliant, booming kicks of the footy. I think Hine-Baston is the most likely to be rookie'd out of the WCE NGA Boys.

Outside chance - Rookie possibilities

7-Coen Livingstone (P) (WCE NGA) - Tom De Koning maybe? - Probably a 60%FWD 40%Ruck type player at 200cm. Livingstone is hard to find a comparison too, certainly has a bit of X-factor (for a ruckman) as we've seen with some of the goals he's kicked. I'd take a little bit of polish off of Tom De Koning and add some real grunt and aggression. I do think Livingstone has a far higher chance/possibility of ending up on a list than the others in this grouping.

26-Ashton Ferreira (SF) - Nic Martin - Both skillful, attacking wingman. Ferreira proved he could accumulate at league level too, if not this year, one to watch next year for sure. Ferreira looks a nice size on the wing too.

11-Tyler Senge
(S) (WCE NGA) - Arthur Jones - I encourage everyone to watch Arthur Jones draft year highlights then watch Senge play. The move identically. From their running style, way they step, way they kick, everything looks the same. Both slightly built indigenous wingers. Although can't see it happening for Senge this year with Collard, OHB and Livingstone.

Like I said, this is just my opinion, if you'd like more comparison or analysis on anyone else let me know. I didn't but could have included the likes of Luke Kelly (Serong comparison) Evan Smith and Xavier Walsh (Naughton), Cocking (Undecided), Whan maybe as Freo's only real NGA prospect outside of Edwards, players who could all also slot into some of these categories.

Very good list mate.

I like it a lot.

As you can gather, my list isn't a "draft predictor". Far from it really.

I'm well aware that there are players between 11-30 who won't get drafted and aren't really on the radar.

But they are the players I like and hope will get looked at, even though I know that their chances are slim/none.

The one player who seems to divide opinion is Sam Van Rooyen (CL). Until a few weeks ago, the one asset I didn't know he had was pace - genuine pace - and I wonder if others have noticed? I thought he was a standard mark/conversion type of forward but his speed caught me by surprise. His testing will be interesting.

Yeah I completely get the fact that it's not a draft predictor as such, probably my favourite part about it.

Van Rooyen is another one I probably should've put in. Other than the 5.5 game against Subi he hasn't really played the house down and had a bit of a disappointing championships. I did happen to hear on I think the Bray and Ethan podcast (maybe, not too sure) that he used to play on the wing. A few extra tools in the bag from playing other positions along with some genuine pace would certainly be helpful for his case.
