Go to the Carlton board....the Blues have finally realised CJ is as soft as butter, and are really ripping into him!

I feel bad that I'm happy he has shown the same spirit at Carlton but when someone does a CJ, well what goes around comes around.

I think after Saturday you can add about 30 other names to the list of those we are having a crack at!
Could be worse. have a look how busy the Tiger board is! 350 people cutting sick at once

Anyone notice he's getting quite chubby??? What a dick!

And you quote celtic_nopride who used to follow Geelong..

That's soft...

Chris Johnson is basically pick 83 in the national draft, so two years is all that we need out of him for a pick that low. A better investment than another 17 year old who won't play footy in those two years.

If at all.

At the end of the day your still paying a guy good money to play shit football. And we all know things are a bit tight on the salary cap

Unfortunately there are only so many spots in your lineup for defenders that have a decent kick but can't stop a forward to save themself.

compared with no money for bad football
time will tell

He really showed nothing in 05, 06 or 07 only last year he played a few alright games but nothing special. Unaccountable spud

To be honest I agree. He showed nothing in those years when there was less than nothing on offer. Why we drafted him is beyond me. But he has already delivered more for us than he did you. Must be good to be a Blue.

Is that why the Blues board is so happy with him?

Very few carlton supporters wanted him and most had very low expectations. Melbourne didnt want him either so I'm not sure why you collectively have a chip on your shoulders. So far he has lived up to expectations, excellent kicking talent but unable to mark a man as a defender, I don't know how a player with those attributes can fit in any team outside of Geelong.

I think the main reason for the 'chip on our shoulder' is the fact he shopped himself around as though he was one of the elite and wanted us to go into a bidding war for him.

In reference to his on field performances, watched the opening game of the year with a mate who's a Carlton supporter and by quarter time he turned to me and admitted he wasn't much. Sure he is has good skills and when in space and not under pressure he can deliver with precision which looks good when your winning yet when the games in the balance and the pressure is on he goes a little weak at the knee's, worries and makes poor decisions.
Would say he's a softer version of Grigg.

Er what?

He had some reasonable games for us last year with 25+ touches.

What has he done for you guys? Has he even gotten over 20 possessions?

We told you he was crap, and some Carlton supporters tried to tell us 'We'll get the best out of him, he was coached poorly at Melbourne', and now what we said is being vindicated so you lot are trying to backtrack on what you said.

GTFO Carlton, you're a disgrace :thumbsd: .

^^ he got a brownlow vote last year during one of those good games he played..

This is just my honest opinion of when he was at Melbourne, being a father/son pick I had high hopes for him and it was frustating to see him not produce. Maybe he will at Cartlon with guys like Waite, gibbs etc or maybe he will be a spud. Time will tell
