That's great to hear ... it means he has learned from his experience of being cut at Carlton.

I was also amused to hear our straight-faced Simon D tactfully describe him as "the life of the party". I'm pleased that we tolerate a certain amount of diversity in the club, even after our experiences with Stringer. As long as he's disciplined on field and in his preparation and doesn't have some of the toxic issues that've been reported with Jake, I don't mind if he knows how to enjoy himself.

He is a good kid he openly admits he didn’t make the best of his chances at Carlton and has worked hard to improve. His dad Andy Gowers was a handy footballer too.

Billy comes from a very, very wealthy family. He’d be the first to admit he just coasted at Carlton thinking it would all just work out. Hopefully his attitude has changed.
