In no particular order, these guys would be the top 5 in our Copeland so far.
Which is a fantastic effort, especially for Wellers, Steele, and Thomas.

Daisy: Playing as good as he ever has, finally shutting everyone up.

Wellers: Well he has been in our best every week I would say, great start to the year for him.

Steele: Second year of footy, he is amazing in close and his evasive skills are crazy good.

The other two pretty much speak for themselves.

agreed. cant split harry, wellers and thomas so far. they've without a doubt been consistently our best in every game

so excited by sharrod!

Lol, I posted in the review thread just before that Dale will finish top 5 in the Copeland. I didn't see this thread.:o

I reckon he played his best match of his career last night. He kicked 3 goals (the second most he has kicked in a game) and got 26 possessions (which was a career best).

He has been fantastic this year! It's great to see that after I've stuck with him for four years he is proving doubters wrong. I've been saying this season will come, but opposition supporters just laughed. Well, who's laughing now?!:D

GO PIES!!!

Daisy is playing nearly fulltime midfield now.

He could have had the same effect last year but didn't due to playing with injury. A broken foot tends to slow some players down.;)

Weird that people on here were saying to play him there last year, now the penny drops for Mick and Thomas is having some good games. Well as long as it happened I guess. Very pleased with Thomas so far, now the challenge, play like this for the rest of the year, consistency is the key. No point putting in a blinder one week only to go missing the next.

Having been to all 4 of your matches this year, I'd definitely have Wellingham leading your B&F, closely followed by Thomas, then probably Sidebottom. The improvement in those three players has been off the charts. Wellingham went from a player I basically didn't know existed to a guaranteed pick in your starting 18. Thomas is finally playing the football everyones known he could play all along, bugger me he's dangerous overhead this year. And Sidebottom looks right at home in the senior team.

Harry O's been okay, but his disposal lets him down IMO. And I haven't been all that impressed with Swan either. Gets plenty of the ball, but isn't using it as well as last year, and tends to go missing.

Yeah swans had a weird one... Went from being untaggable to having 2 dirty games in a row... However this year he has been pretty dangerous up forward

Plenty of good signs

Thomas and Wellers would be 1-2.

Swan been ordinary by his lofty standards....

Harry great

Steele is brilliant for such a young player

Swan was sensational against the Bulldogs, it was an amazing game for him. Off that effort I was tipping him to take his place next to Judd and Ablett as one of the premier midfielders of the comp. Since then though he's been a little subdued, dunno why. Lucky the young guns are picking up the slack though and really thriving on the responsibility.

Am I alone thinking Maxwell would be top 5?

I thought he was one of our best last night and his games against the dogs and saints were underrated.

Wellingham is the story here. His game has just got to a whole other level and then beyond. He now looks as though he could be in the top bracket of players at our club. Supremely talented and hard at it too:thumbsu:

It takes a fair bit to knock the wind out of Hodgey.

Hasn't he been great.

He has been absolutely fantastic, I love his hardness. It's great.

Great, Great, Great, Great, Great, Great, Great, Great, Great, Great. :D

That's all I've got to say is great.

He is one of the best kicks on our list, in fact he lead our kicking efficiency stat last year with more than 80% for the season. He's not as good a kick as Didak, but his effiency % is higher as he is a defender.

I reckon Heater has had 2 x close to BOG's + 1 bad game + missed. But the way our voting works, he would be up there

Disposal efficiency has to be the most useless stat ever. I've seen guys butcher it all day and somehow they come away with a 70%+ efficiency rating. WTF?

Just watching Harry O he always seems to get the ball, go on a sprint which looks fantastic. But whenever he kicks it it's always a wobbling mongrel punt style kick. Doesn't seem the most reliable kicking wise.

But maybe that's just me.

Some kicks I agree, generally he is a safe short to medium kick but can kick some mongrels

also the more long kicks you have the greater your kicking eff, as a long kick is considered effective unless it's a direct turnover
