Why would we trade in any mid tier players from other clubs in the middle of our premiership window? Our depth is so good at the moment they simply won't get a game
I would think we'll be pretty quiet this year after landing Tippet with any likely trades involving shipping out more of our fringe players and drafting best available young talent

I reckon dogs might try and get Jed Lamb, similar to how the dogs got Koby Stevens from West Coast. he was for pick 44. SO a early third rounder.
Can't seem him getting a game in the swans midfield. Espcially since Tom Mitchell has pretty much cemented a spot in the starting 22.
Wow is this guy serious??

Time to draft young guns seeing as Goodes, Okeefe etc will be leaving soon

seeing that he is on a year to year contract, and would be pretty cheap, i see him getting another year. Membrey is already on the senior list so won't directly replace Mitch there. However, with our injured seniors back on the list next year, he may get squeezed out.

btw lrtwalsh are on the lti, replaced by b.jack and rampe am i missing anybody?

I reckon it's a case of Jude retiring *tears welling up* and there's the potential for Goodesy to retire also *a single tear made of pure man love falls* which should basically cover it.

while this is true we also have to consider LRT retiring 'bursting in tears'it will be exactly like mattner.this year is a key draft 4 the swans believe it or not!

Bolton, White and Lockyer will go. We're in a reasonable position. We could get a pick for White, we'll seriously consider getting Joel Tippett and have some salary cap for a tilt at someone as well.
Tippet would be good backup were you thinking main list or rookie?

I am thinking main list, and by all reports and chatter last year pre draft I was a little surprised we took Xavier Richards over him.
Xavier seems like a really good pickup at this stage really pushing for selection which I didn't expect

Why get rid of Lockyer?? Kid is only just turned20 had most of last year out with injuries, can play tall or small. Isn't depth in your side about how good your development is,that kids reach their potential at 22-24, anyway I believe that i read that he signed for three years so one year left I believe.

I personally wouldn't get rid of Lockyer yet but his contract would be up this year tho. You don't get three years unless your Tom Mitchell

Not looking good for Tony Armstrong. Never really sold on him as a likely Bloods-type. Is he off contract?

Good going forward with the ball, but is flimsy at best defensively. Unless we find another role for him (which i don't think we will) i don't think he'll make it at the Swans.

Had a look at a few draft candidates and a bloke by the name of Jon Marsh caught my eye. Hoping we grad him with our first rounder, may be a reach but given our history we can be a bit speculative
Harrison's more talented younger brother.

people writing off Armstrong is a joke.. he'll be working very hard on his weaknesses to become a better player.. he's not the quickest, gets pushed off the ball easily, cant defend etc. as most people know he has elite kicking skills and he could become an awesome player. McVeigh isn't the quickest either but one of our most important players, his kicking and vision is equal to the best in the comp. I see Armstrong possibly getting to this level.

Jon Marsh looks alright, but I think our key forward stocks are okay now. I think we need to focus on Key Backs and Small Defenders.

For our first rounder, I'm high on Darcy Gardiner. Could be a good Key Back to groom until Ted or Reg move on (or hell, AJ isn't the same since the ACL)
