Carlton's list management decisions this off season have ensured two things:
1. They won't contend for a premiership in the short to medium term, and
2. They'll avoid another period of a handful of consecutive years in the bottom 2 in the medium term.

It doesnt really matter what some troll thinks or says it is just good stuff from Fudgey keeping some banter going another year of finishing ahead will quieten him down but a flag will see him out.

Collingwood's future is already set and reach for middling status and lots of talk about a glorious past (3 flags in 60/70/80 years)

but this year- there is hope - keep Pendelbury on the field and hope that their midfield can actually win some hard ball - they ahve enough firrepower to score.

They're all young, our depth is better than last year, you probably never heard of Lemney or O'Keefe either.

Who would know?

We've got a few who have been given some game time and have been seen to have done enough to retain a spot on our list, others who have had limited game time due to injuries or the fact they weren't yet ready, and another few brand spanking new recruits who we know nothing about at the level.

But again, we're not relying on any of them to make a significant impact in order to restore us to premiership contention level in 2025.
