Drafted by GWS around 2011, traded to the Bulldogs a few years later, played about 20 AFL games, a lot more AFL Reserves games. Hasn't played AFL since 2015.
Yes was Capt/coach of a GVFL side. Can play!

What’s the salary cap as could PC be in trouble? Oh yeah Deer Park said it’s fine go for it. 😜😜

The friendship factor could apply here, Darley would have played with Clay Smith and Dahlhaus at the Dogs, maybe his $ not as high as it could have been elsewhere.

Think PC would be coming off a low base with their cap, am guessing though.

I'll say it again, the salary cap is unenforceable at local level, stick with a points system.

Reckon the sharks up the road that have basically recruited a full side would be paying more. 16-17 point cook juniors running out each week.

Agree

Give less points to the clubs who are fortunate geographically to have full book of juniors and more to the clubs that don’t

Also allow more points to clubs promoted a division

Which clubs do you think are fortunate enough ?

Promoted clubs do get more points than the top teams now

How did the league go in all the junior interleague comps? How does the league compare to other leagues at the junior level?

Werribee undefeated so you couldn’t possibly tip against them but Spotswoods form had been pretty good of late so in saying that I think every game this weekend is a genuine 50/50.

WD, PC, Caro & Alt all favs but it would not surprise me if any 3 of them get rolled.

I think only Yarraville could upset Altona. I’ve looked at the teams and Altona have a lot of players who play twos normally

Sharks have key talls missing at the moment - Dogs should have a comfortable afternoon.

Dogs missing about 12 blokes so result not a surprise

Every side has players missing this time of year - just got get it right at business end - good for comp not seeing cricket scores in 2023 unlike previous seasons - is it true Sharks fallen short under 6pts in 5 games - give them credit for having a crack each week surely Squeeky

100%

Although their competivness is probably a reason why Hoppers are no good

Werribee will go through the year undefeated and win the flag.. there isn’t a team that can challenge them this year.. Altona are cooked

Sharks are doing well coming up , very competitive and could have beat PC both times and others ! Certainly not the easy beats
Comp has come down except districts!

Realistically, sharks played at 45/46 points, and PCFC were missing Robinson, Dalhaus, Deery, Darley, Eggmolose-Smith, Schiavello, Lui, Wyatt, Tsapopolis.

I'd argue the Sharks have missed a golden opportunity

Probably did miss an opportunity, but saw PCC the week before lead CS into the last quarter and still maintain they are the best side to come up for a long, long time.

Not disputing that.

If they had of played their best footy on Saturday they would have won.

Because if those blokes played, Point Cook are a 10 goal better side than what they put out on Saturday.
