Werribee Districts are going to take some stopping.

Still got McMahon to come back in.

Dogs missing Tsapasolis, Robinson, Darley, Allen, kizan & Cilmi today, however the Tigers have Depth everywhere.

Jenkins is a freak still

Shocked to see Hoppers Crossing in the state they’re in at present. They’ve always been one of the bigger and stronger clubs in the WRFL. I wonder if they finish last whether they’ll kick up a stink about going into Div 2 or embrace it.

A cold and windy day yesterday at the Spotswood v YSE game. We got four seasons in one quarter! However it was still a great and entertaining match with YSE kicking six goals to one in the last quarter to run out comfortable winners. Here is my last HALF game-day scenes from the game. Canteen hotdog rating 2/10. Canteen potato cake rating 9/10. Gotta luv suburban footy.

I went down and watch half the game. Hoppers are in all sorts of trouble. I hope they are not paying the coaching group too much money. From what i seen they is no game plan, selfish football and it seemed like the midfield group apart from the ruck not rotating at all. Running whole first two quarters on the ball. Can see why Hoppers reject Shade runs amuck when the midfielders are out on their feet.
Could be more pain for the club next year, alot of unhappy players

Does that mean 10 in div 1 and 12 in div 2.
With the struggling Div 2 clubs playing each other at least twice and against the stronger ones only once. For the first two years.

I would assume they may even look to merge a couple of clubs wouldn't they?

2 x 10 team comps would be the best fit wouldn't it?

It's not as if there is a massive volume of players in a few ressies teams, and it's not as if the comp is overflowing with talent at the bottom end.

So condensing the comp is the smartest objective IMO. But when you add the emotion of which club folds/merges, then it becomes a lot more difficult.

But YSE have proven the concept can work, even if it takes a few years to get right.

MARK 1 - Travis Varcoe from Yarraville Seddon Eagles takes a nice mark against Spotswood last Saturday. Normal speed and slo-mo.
