Hey what can I say looks like the saints will take a little longer than first expected.
Collingwood showed strong signs that this may be there year.But then again they did the same thing last year and look what happend.
And personally it doesnt bother me either way.2 victorian teams played so my interest usually goes out the window.I just love seeing all you collingwood supporters come outta the woodwork when you team wins.

Come the regular season I still think the saints will cream the Pies.
Its the pre season so I wouldnt read allot into it.Saints are made of off allot of new faces that are still taking time to gel as a club.Give it time and the likes of Hamill,Gehrig and the older likes of Harvey and Spider will get back to top form.

The fact still remains you beat last years wooden spoon.But admittidly a improved list that still has allot its stars to return.

And it seems where going to see another post like this as you come up against a even more undermaned side in the eagles next week.

I regrettedly believe that we can't hold a winning season together yet but will maybe next year or the year after we will be able too. So there you have it, do you really think I am expecting too much? By the way I believe that Gherig will end up being a liability to the Saints. Also granted the Saints didn't have Harvey playing BUT we were missing a number of players aswell. And one last thing, if we had kicked straight last night we would have creamed them.

Ok 10-11 is realistic.Nice to see some collingwood supporters looking at there season without there black and white glasses.Gehrig has the making to be a champion and now that he is happy he has the competition at his feet.

Malthouse saw that, and that is why he presuded him.

And if the eagles kicked straight they would have beaten the Roos.So kicking straight isnt an excuse.I should know, I used to use it allot myself.

I work with 3 magpie supporters and I told them Collingwood would win. They just looked at me with blank looks on their faces. Gave me all the reason St Kilda would win. I said I thought Collingwood was more settled - and would win.

So it not just oppostion supporters who have to be convinced - some Magpie supporters, including my daughter.
