Opinion K Mart: red hot special - (Bucks on AFL360: "Kyle Martin is being upgraded this week")

As for Martin, I'll be genuinely shocked if he's promoted this week, I just think they had their chance the last few weeks and didn't pull the trigger, what's changed? Nothing really. In fact if anything the need for a half forward is even less this week with Elliott and Reid likely to return.

What's changed?

I'll start with:

• one win in 6 games.
• A slaughtering at the hands of the bombers.
• Poor performances from 17 of the 21 players in the most recent match.
• Martin played magnificently in his most recent VFL match.
• Martin can kick goals.
• Collingwood AFL side cannot kick goals.
• Martin is flexible and can play half-forward and mid.
• Martin would at least try as compared to the other 17 players referred to earlier.
• Rewarding good (nay, great) form and disenriching poor form.
• A change for the sake of change might just work.

Is that not enough reason?

I understand what you're saying but I'm not a Buckley hater. He was a great player. I think we all can agree that if we could just wind back time and reverse that terrible decision to change coaches then the last 3 years would have been so much better. I'm the first to want to see Bucks turn it around but he has to start making the right decisions about player choice...while I know you were just making a point, I think we all can agree that KMart is much more than average. Lets hope Bucks sees the light...

I'm on the same team mark but you and I are on completely different wavelengths, we celebrate that here but from my reading of the majority of the posts is that you are in the minority. Nothing wrong with that but I doubt you can claim everyone agreeing with you.

Heard from some one in the know that they are not Happy with Martins lack of "running both ways"

I have never seen him in the VFL so cant comment. But apparently that's why he cant break into the 1sts despite his obvious talent.
