So lets get this straight

Geelong want to get

Dangerfield
Henderson
Z Smith
S Selwood

Yet there is not even a wimper about salary cap issues.

Yet we get in Ryder, Dixon and everyone is jumping on our case.

I wish Kochie and the board invite the AFL to inspect our books to prpve there is no issue at all with our cap.
It's damn annoying but I'm 100% confident that we have nothing to hide. We can't control what the oxygen thieves write about us, but we can have confidence that the club is in good hands, and the Barretts, Rowes and Ricciutos of this world will continue to end up looking silly.

Crow fans over in their board think Aish is coming to them and he will announce it by the end of the week.

Could be true.

It is rather crazy over there though!

They're throwing a lot of player names around that they reckon will make up for Dangerfield leaving. There's just one problem crowies, watcha got to trade??

Pretty much the same on every board at this time of year. But if the cows eventually manage to get a good deal for Danger they could have as much as 2 first picks both this and next year, although there are restrictions. Even if they don't they would have two first-rounders and a future first-rounder (as well as any other picks). They cannot necessarily trade all their future picks away.

Clubs must also make two first-round draft picks in any four-year period.
Any club that does not stick to that provision will face restrictions on trading future first-round selections.
Also, if a club trades a future first-round pick, it will be the only future trade they can make for that year.

And who wants to go there? Any player going to Adelaide knows they'll be built up as the Dangerfield replacement and have a heap of pressure on them. None of the players mentioned are at that stage of their careers (or if older ever going to be) that level. Why move there for the unnecessary headache when you could get as much elsewhere without the added burden? You have to love Adelaide keep shouting 'Take that!' and firing their gun, without taking it out and pointing away from their foot.

Amish would absolutely crumble. Please make it so.

AFL.com reporting Yarran could be on Hawthorns radar. Also saying Aish likes Collingwood if he leaves Brisbane.

This is wy the crows are only getting compo pick at best, Geelong need their first rounder for one of the others.

Welcome to heartbreak hotel where you can check out any time you like .

I know our list religiously, but came across this photo accompanying an article about Easton Wood winning the Dogs' B&F and couldn't recognise who it was he was taking a hanger on.

Gut feel initially said Paul Stewart, but those quads look too skinny so I'm now thinking it's Amon? But hairstyle seems much more P.Stew than Karl o_O

Leigh Matthews has said that if Aish doesn't sign with them, he can go into the draft. They're making a 'stand' I guess and trying to fix their 'culture' problems.

Has Aish shown enough to go in the 1st round if he goes back in the draft? Interesting. I think he might re-sign with Brisbane and bid his time, if he's smart (and being an Aish he probably is smart, at least with money).

New SANFL rules - could cause confusion for players moving to/from AFL:

CAPPED rotations at 50 from next season. The AFL last month changed its cap from 120 to 90 for next season.

SANFL teams will be allowed to make as many as three interchanges outside the capped 50 during each of the quarter-time, half-time and three quarter-time breaks.

ORDERED a free kick for any kick or handball that falls out of bounds without being touched. The AFL is still debating the merit of this rule change — along with the proposal to push boundary throw-ins five or 10 metres away from the boundary line to ease congestion and repeat stoppages.
