Frawley is just perfect for the Hawks and the Hawks will be perfect for him. I said on the main board i'd actually be surprised if he doesn't end up with you guys. Makes for an interesting "side show" to the season.

I'm just pleased that the game is at the 'G, and not at the Dome. If we can get some half decent weather, then we should get 75,000+ at the game. Will help us, as I really think we play the 'G better than the Dome. Big test for us is what we do with Mitchell, Bateman and Hodge, who all usually...

Spot on. They must have spent a heap of money on it, as the surface there is fantastic. I walk around the oval most nights when I take my dog for a walk - I even walk accross it some nights. I wouldn't worry about it being a dodgy surface - it's like walking on carpet.

I'm sure the Hawks could find a role for Lethal should he have a desire to return to Hawthorn. Even something like a mentoring role for some of the young kids, to educate them to what it means to pull on a Hawthorn jumper.

Given their list, it could happen. They have that many players who are well over 30, it is quite staggering.

I heard Carlton were going to play Hawthorn twice in 2009. I just hope that both games are played at the MCG, where we'd quite possibly get up to 80,000 both times.

I'm actually a little surprised that he might play on next year. He has nothing else to prove within the AFL, has just won a flag, and i'd imagine he'd all but have a media career lined up for himself after he retires.

Such a shame, seemed like he was a pretty good fit for the Hawks. Hopefully the family reasons are not to serious.
