    Game Day Hawthorn v Carlton

I'm pretty sure he was called Dimma when he was playing juniors as well. Good luck today guys. Please be gentle.

Is Hardwick any relation to Dimma?

    Preview Essenjectors v Hawthorn, 10 June 2016, 7.50pm @ Etihad

On behalf of every Carlton supporter, would love to see a massive thumping on Friday night. Good luck guys, you'll have 16 other clubs supporters right there with you.

List Mgmt. 2014 Free Agency, draft and trades news and discussion **Not the trade hypotheticals thread"

I thought the same thing. What I know about Cotchin is that he's a pretty loyal young bloke, so it'd have to be some sort of serious deal from the Hawks to get him out of Richmond.

List Mgmt. 2014 Free Agency, draft and trades news and discussion **Not the trade hypotheticals thread"

Hey guys - heard an interesting rumour about the Hawks over the weekend. A buddy of mine who does have some serious contacts at Richmond has heard that you guys are into Cotchin big time when he comes out of contract. He believes this is a big reason why he only signed a 2 year contract that...

Round 2 2014: Hawthorn play the IJFH All-Stars. Selection, injections, angst. Bring it all.

Good luck this week guys. Hopefully you can do what North Melbourne couldn't last week.

Strategy Welcome James Frawley to the HFC

Frawley is just perfect for the Hawks and the Hawks will be perfect for him. I said on the main board i'd actually be surprised if he doesn't end up with you guys. Makes for an interesting "side show" to the season.

Preview Round 18, The Needle and The Damage Done - Jimmy Diesel and the Injectors v Hawthorn

I'm hoping we can get their under our own steam, but wouldn't it be great if it was us who took their spot in the 8. Their supporters would be even more ferral than what they usually are.

Stick to what you're good at. Hint: it involves crayons and a coloring book.

Just popped in to wish you Hawks all the best on Friday night. Hope you completely dismantle and bury Essendon* into the Etihad dirt. Every single Carlton supporter is behind you guys.

    Our Guernsey vs Carlton?

For Friday night footy, would be great to see you in the traditional brown and gold, and just wear the white shorts. Good luck Friday night, although I doubt you'll need it.

Injury Max Bailey - Wrist Injury

First things first - A big shout out to Max to come back quickly after his surgery. This poor bloke can't take a trick, especially after showing so much promise in 2011. Completely agree Roughy shouldn't be tried in the ruck. The Hawks need to play him forward, or even back if the situation...

    Autopsy Hawks vs Bombers

A big well done tonight guys. Made Essendon look like a bottom 4 team, and you guys looked very good, although you may have relaxed after half time. Losing Cyril obviously didn't help. Should be an epic game next week against Collingwood.

Cameron Cloke, Should we pick him up?

I hope we tear them a new one next week

I'm just pleased that the game is at the 'G, and not at the Dome. If we can get some half decent weather, then we should get 75,000+ at the game. Will help us, as I really think we play the 'G better than the Dome. Big test for us is what we do with Mitchell, Bateman and Hodge, who all usually...

    Training at Knox this Friday

Won't the club have some pics on their website. However, you may not get the shirtless thing happening though.

    Training at Knox this Friday

Spot on. They must have spent a heap of money on it, as the surface there is fantastic. I walk around the oval most nights when I take my dog for a walk - I even walk accross it some nights. I wouldn't worry about it being a dodgy surface - it's like walking on carpet.

Lethal Leigh Matthews finally to return to the HAWKS!!!

I'm sure the Hawks could find a role for Lethal should he have a desire to return to Hawthorn. Even something like a mentoring role for some of the young kids, to educate them to what it means to pull on a Hawthorn jumper.

    Hawks hit back over O'Keefe

Given their list, it could happen. They have that many players who are well over 30, it is quite staggering.

Any leaks on who we play twice?

I heard Carlton were going to play Hawthorn twice in 2009. I just hope that both games are played at the MCG, where we'd quite possibly get up to 80,000 both times.
  26. HBF

    How about Kris Massie?

Would be better suited at a lower level of footy - VFL, SANFL..

Alex Ischenko leaves as Ruck Coach.

Very much a Port man now. You'd have to throw a fair bit of coin his way to get him out of Adelaide IMO.

    Shane! Shane! Come back!

I'm actually a little surprised that he might play on next year. He has nothing else to prove within the AFL, has just won a flag, and i'd imagine he'd all but have a media career lined up for himself after he retires.

Todd Viney hands in his resignation.

Such a shame, seemed like he was a pretty good fit for the Hawks. Hopefully the family reasons are not to serious.
