And lock them in with 4 year dealsOne of the more frustrating aspects of the AFC over the last decade and a half is that we pesist with really average footballers for far too long.

You build a quality organisation top-down.
Times are a changing.
You missed my point, I don't think he's a great player and you said "any comment with Jenkins in it is more stupid. So I said he will make it - hence making it a stupid comment.I never said he won't. I said the comments were dumb, not his ability.

Worth listening closely to.
I think Noble has proven to be a very good negotiator, but I think you are right in that maintaining the list should not be his responsibility. We'll never know, but I reckon we build our list from the middle. I look at the 4 year deal for Mackay in the absence of a list manager. The first thing I think is, "who am I going to blame". It's got to be Noble. I'm near convinced that he is the architect of why we've been so ordinary.
Im curious what you took out of that? the fact their will be announcements soon? it could be Douggie signing on and the things they're going to do to mark the 25 years of our club. I didn't take that to mean Danger and Sloane will be signed soon. But maybe I didn't hear it the way you did?
Wow. That was 20 pages ago.http://www.afc.com.au/news/2015-03-13/douglas-eyes-new-deal
I guess Dougy has no hope of getting a deal he's happy with now?

You do know that a grudge is a place to park your car!

I think how the process works more than the "headline grabbing" there will be announcements.
There has been a fair bot of criticism of the process. But I think that under Fagan this process has come under scrutiny, yes it's only an impression. What I took out was: "Stick to the process. Deviating opens up room for mistakes". Am I reading too much into it?
"We are in a process and we will stick to it".
Contract negotiation speak 101.
Not sure how anyone could look in to that interview good or bad. Stock standard.
Mature Alex. Very mature. The way you resort to petty sledges is a feature of your posting.

No I did get that bit too. He also did say things are where they should be at the moment (talking about player contracts) but whether that was in regard to Danger or the other two or whatever obviously its impossible to say. It does infer that the contracts are actually progressing but again it doesn't mean all the players contracts are that way. He also said theres no bad news which suggests Danger hasn't told them he's going although as we know that means diddly.
