When asked by the media, he called for people to leave the girl alone. That he would accept a simple apology. That the girl needed support.

Do you accept that what you have thought about this situation is incorrect? That Goodes and yourself share the same view of the girl involved? Will you get over it and move on?

I'm surprised about the parts of this that are continuing on. Goodes had every right to call out that girl. However, he made the right comments after. Again, the issue was the media who put her face on the front page and named her.

Goodes looks like an ape. She called him an ape. He called out that is racist. Hun posts her to the front page and names her. Goodes tried to calm the situation. She called him to apologise saying she didn't understand and didn't mean to be racist. Goodes accepted the apology. Media continued to run with the story for weeks.

Goodes is not the issue. Calling her out is not the issue. The girl not getting it is not an issue. The media is....
