Who honestly cares about the Carlise smoking pot, so many people do it now.

I'm not a fan of it. I'm not a fan of societal role models doing it. That said it's a ****ing nothing issue. It's common practise and plenty of places have legalised it, hell I'd wager $5 it was actually legal where Carlisle was smoking it. I don't like it but I'm not such a big prick I'm going to judge others for it.

It's also extremely ****ing suspect that this happens so soon after he got traded. I smell a rotting stinking fish, and it's not the one Prickering hides in Joyce's office to scare away his clients from signing.

I think the growing consensus is that it's understandable for players of his age to nominate the state they want to be traded to, but being able to nominate a specific club and partially hold their old one to ransom is a step too far.

Likelihood of us signing Aish if Treloar deal isn't done today is rising to about 50% if not more. Surely he realises that Collingwood have him on the backburner as a secondary option to Treloar, and that we want him and he could be a future captain of our club... Wake up James.

And he needs to back off from selling the story that he's sticking firm with Collingwood because he's the loyal type. From the middle of last year (his first season) until the last couple of months, all he supposedly wanted to do was get to one of the SA clubs so he could go home to Adelaide.

Ok, some information I have received. Take with a load of salt but this is interesting:

The Basti to Lions deal will happen today most likely, for the deal mentioned: Pick 17 Roos, Basti 2x 2nd Rounds with a little something else.

The deal for Aish has been worked out as well if it comes up.

Roos give Lions back their Pick 17 and 2nd round 2016 selection and receive Aish and a 2015 pick somewhere or Bewick if not included above. "Pick 40/41"

It basically means North pay 3x 2nd round picks (1x 2016, 2x2015). We also get to keep the sweetners.

For mine, would prefer to give back only Pick 34 for Aish but this is how it has been explained to me and that this is based on some further action being possible on the Lions end during trade period.

What your saying there seems to back up this trade

In: Bewick, 17 + 2016 Bris 2nd round

This could get interesting. Lions now have a clearer picture because the Pies can't send their 2016 2nd Round over either so now they have to find one elsewhere, with an average hand, or the Lions have to accept 28 and the Saints 2nd round 2016.

Reckon the Lions will cave but never know.
