No he was definitely celebrating a point like he was really sticking it up an arch enemy rather than looking forward to getting on the plane for the end of season trip as a lot of (Carlton) people will have you believe about that game.

So until that time it's just an unpopular opinion. Glad to see you got there in the end.

I dont have carlton people making me believe that.
I just dont put ANY credibility into teams beating non finals teams in the last couple of rounds.

Alright here's my popular opinion:
The bombers will be worse than 2015 before the players were banned.

How about a signature wager. If the bombers do/dont make the 8 one of us has to change our picture and signature to whatever the other one chooses for 2 weeks?

We have to prove opinions wrong now? When did that shift happen?

So the players coming back are worth a 10-12 game shift in games one without any other side improving?

I assume all these done fans are putting their savings on a top 4 finish. Easy money

It's certainly possible I guess.

lol no. I don't do silly bets.

You don't have to do anything. It's an unpopular opinion, actually it's proving to be reeeally unpopular. I think it's unlikely myself but I hope he's right. To say he's unequivocally wrong though is, well wrong. Nobody would have picked the dogs to win last year either.

I was just responding to you telling someone to prove it wrong

I then discussed why it may be wrong. Was doing what you asked ;)

Compare your best 22 to this and we will start from there.

Baguley Hartley Mcgrath
Tippa Hurley Goddard
Zaharakis Heppell Parish
Colyer Daniher Fantasia
Langford Hooker Francis

Leunberger Merrett Watson

Kelly Myers Laverde Stanton

Your defence is slightly better than ours, forwardline worse and midfield significantly worse. Keep the trolling to the Bay please.

Essendon's defense is slightly better? Unpopular indeed.
:thumbsu:

Play Hooker down there and it's significantly better.

Hurley > Tom McDonald
Hartley = Oscar McDonald
Baguley > Frost
McGrath < Hunt (For 2017, I'd expect a pick 1 to be better than a pick 53 long term)
Goddard < Hibberd
Tippa = Jetta (Tippa better rebound Jetta better defender)

Please explain how your forward line is better.... even if Jesse is slightly better than Daniher (arguable) - Hooker will be better than them both.

And forgot sakes how is your midfield better? Heppell Merrett Watson Goddard Kelly Zaharakis to start with

Watson (32) Goddard (32) Kelly (33) Zaharakis (27)

None of these will be around when you are ready to challenge.

Melbourne have Brayshaw (21) Oliver (19) Petracca (21) Stretch (21) Tyson (24) Viney (22) and only Nathan Jones who is 29 & Jordan Lewis (30) who wont be there when they are ready to challenge.

And Bernie Vince and Jeff Garlett.

Hivbberd better than Goddard is laughable did you see his last year?

With idiocy like this all you need is a TSM flair and then you're set :>

I have one... gilllon drives his players underground... he says one thing to those he likes and then to others he
scatters and shoots from the hip

He falters because he chooses the life blood of the afl and then shoots them down because he likes to keep us all
pointing fingers and still watering the garden of the afl.

watch me because I tend to rattle a cage and shoot the foot but he knows that he has grown but not in a wordly sense.

chook shooting is a method of easy linking to the half arsed persona that people don't quite see... :thumbsu:

GWS will play in plenty of Prelims and even GFs, but I don't think they will ever hold up the cup.

And I'm saying that despite the concerningly low standard of football on display in the AFL recently which has opened the door for mediocre teams like Geelong in 2016 to be premiership contenders. When Geelong actually find some form this year it wouldn't surprise me if they went the whole season undefeated - no other teams will be much chop compared to them.
Who do you think can beat GWS this season? I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they go through undefeated.

Essendon have plenty of good young mids too, Parish, Heppell, Zerrett, Mcgrath, Laverde and Langfor

Geelong, as I implied in the post you quoted. Wouldn't be surprised if the Bulldogs knocked them off as well, plus there will be upset losses they won't see coming.

ehhh GWS might dominate seasons but finals is a different story. Dogs won the flag. Hawks beat the Cats. Adelaide won from 5th.

Bang on the money. Finals are a different ball game altogether. They had a prime opportunity to get to their first GF but were totally outplayed, outcoached and outworked by the Dogs.

slightly outplayed would be more accurate

No, we were terrible before the bans, only won games in 2016 because the opposition were snoozing, haven't brought in any "top-line talent" (like Troy Menzel) and all our players who've been out will have no match conditioning and be horrifically out of shape (despite also having no injuries for a year and looking ripped). Oh, and we've lost Jake Melksham.

Yeah you're right Menzel definitely wouldnt be playing 22 games for essendon in 2017!
