I decided to do an International Worst XI

1. Sherwin Campbell
2. Chigumbura
3. Cameron Borgas
4. Nic Maddsion
5. Mark Cosgrove
6. Hilton Cartwright
7. Daniel Smith (wicket keeper)
8. Brad Williams
9. Dwayne Leverock
10. Scott Muller
11. Mick Lewis

Worst XI that I've seen play:

1. Nic Maddinson (Aus/NSW/Sixers) - most overrated player; didn't deserve a baggy green, and didn't deserve a second or a third chance either
2. Meyrick Buchanan (Renegades) - played only 1 match, 64.70 strike rate
3. Dom Michael (TAS/Hobart) - More ducks than runs
4. Daniel Smith [wk] (Sixers) - Overweight; only averaged 13.02 runs from 61 T20s
5. Alex Keath (VIC/Stars) - couldn't bat or bowl; changed spors to AFL
6. Jake Doran (TAS/Thunder) - can't bat, can't keep
7. Jason Floros [c] (QLD/Brisbane) - Only 3 wickets in 26 T20s, and a bat ave of 15.85
8. Tim Armstong (Perth) - just like everyone else, couldn't bat or bowl
9. Chris Sabburg (Heat) - Specialist fiedler
10. Trent Lawford (Adelaide/Renegades) - Overweight, can't bat, can't bowl
11. Ben Oakley (Adelaide) - Career best bowling stats of 0/50
Bit harsh making the call on Jake Doran already, he's only 20 and was highly rated and junior level
I feel like he was lucky to get a shot at the test team, considering he only got 2 first class centuries. He was woeful on a flat track GABBA wicket, scoring 13 off 17. I also feel he only got games at WA through his networks from Wesley College. Silver spooner.

Dan Smith and Borgas never played international cricket

I can name you a dozen West Indies batsmen from the last 25 years worse than Campbell. His most regular partner, Stuart Williams for one. Campbell's record was ordinary but he did spark up with a couple of decent knocks here and there. Made 2 centuries against Australia after the tide had turned from memory.

Fatty Cosgrove also has a first class record that by all rights should have put him in test contention by now considering some of the other plebs who've had a go.

Campbell - a lot worse than him
Chigumbura - captained his country during very tough times. Far from terrible too.
Borgas - lolwut
Maddinson - fair call based on his international career but decent enough FC stats
Cosgrove - if he wasn't a big fatty he would've played a fair amount of International cricket
Cartwright - Solid start to his FC career. Scored 37 on test debut
Dan Smith - lolwut
Brad Williams - no, harsh call
Leverock - 150kgs of greatness. Troubled test standard batsman at times.
Muller - average test stats but wasn't around during his time tbf
Mick Lewis - mainly remembered for 438.

Everybody is being pretty tough on Scott Miller too, 100 first class wickets at 23.

Good bowler at that level.

Took 7 test wickets in 2 matches as well

Where the * is Cartwright coming from?

He was Bradman young cricketer of the year and averages 45 in FC cricket.

Has a fantastic technique, could very well be a mainstay #5 or #6 for a long time in the test team. Especially considering the majority of his cricket will be in Australia, and over half of his away tours will be in England and South Africa.

Looked way more settled than Renshaws first outing and his technique reminded me a lot of Brad Haddin (who had a fantastic technique but just about the worst temperament going around). May even settle at 4, with Smith at 3 and Handscomb at 5

Completely agree, it's a dogshit agenda being driven by a single ignorant poster with a chip on his shoulder.

Yeah, forget his bowling, it's in the Steve Waugh class and will be shelved after about his 30th test match.

He's an aggressive, scoring, middle order batsman with a sound technique. Hopefully we play the Bangers so he can get some games following the Indian tour, Id love to see him play 5 games in the Ashes to really establish himself.
