North will trade for anyone but no one wants to go there.
Not so bullish about parsons, simpson and buzza. Role players at best. Buzza is a battler and has good hustle but lacks talent. Parsons didnt do enough in either afl or vfl for me. Simpson is another imbetweener not a mid and not a forward

I've heard different.
We are huge into him and he is keen on us, has met with our leadership group and thinks our culture will be the best thing for him.
That's coming from a good source as well
i would not believe any of the crap being dished outseems like Stringer is slipping away, 2nd meeting with Bombers & North willing to part with 4th pick.
North could offer Goldy and still keep pick 4i would not believe any of the crap being dished out
north would want a lot back in return
the last thing stringer needs is the pressure with going to north - gtee to end his career

Yes, train them together with some senior games to not fossilize them as VFL stars.I have no major concerns with these players. If Ablett Stringer Smith come it will allow us to train them up for two or three years in the reserves, build them in to real players. Not force them too early. Give them time to develop frames and stamina. We could the give them development time like we did with the ablett chapman bartel stevie j group.
Give simpson zuthrie parsons cunico parfitt buzza narkle jones this time together in the twos we could end with a future cohesive group
Uncontracted Bulldog Stewart Crameri is not on the Cats' radar with the Cats emphatically rejecting any suggestion it was targeting the 29-year-old.
Not fussed if we missed both those targets
Don't worry our reasonable posters are not posting that.
I still think either 20 and another 20s pick (assuming we get one off GC) or our 2018 1st and 20 for stringer and 26 are in the ballpark, possibly add a fringe player (doesn't need to be stanley) if there's one your club is keen on.
They've been saying that since 2010!In the AFL wash up all three panelists indicated Cats on the slide next year between 8-5 and definitely no top 4 for the foreseeable future. Must go back to draft and start again.
We were lucky to finish top 2 this year, but I'd say with clever recruiting and a healthier list we might actually improve but the commentariat have been pretty close to the mark so far with their pick for Adel but they all had Syd in it so flop there.
Go Cats!!!!!
Same thing was said 12 months ago and at the start of this season - some even had us missing the 8 all together. In the AFL wash up all three panelists indicated Cats on the slide next year between 8-5 and definitely no top 4 for the foreseeable future. Must go back to draft and start again.

Yup. They don't even bother with any internal consistency, clearly they rate Sydney and not us yet knocking Sydney out to make the prelim is overlooked to make this season anything more than a 6.5 in spite of them not even seeing us as top 4.Same thing was said 12 months ago and at the start of this season - some even had us missing the 8 all together.
They say it in the hope of being right - and I guess one day they could be.
And he already turned them down which is why they said they are no longer interested on SEN this morning.Been reported in the Hun that stringer has meet up Richmond
Best to check all his options I guess, how the tigers can afford him I have no idea

100%. Of course AFL players in general play under far more strain than VFL players. But in terms of kids that don't get contested roles and will have their minutes managed I'd like to see more hard facts behind the different impacts on players bodies. I wonder if there are any recently departed medicos that would talk on the issue...
